I really enjoy your videos, Caleb! Kapital is one of those houses that makes so much stuff that I love but cannot pull off, so much stuff that I just don't understand at all, and a few things that I love *_and_* can pull off. I have the drunk striped corduroy coverall jacket, and, though an unusual piece, I wear often, and that I get very nice comments about every time I wear it. Thanks for covering the century denim -- I'll have to consider them, as I think those could work for me. That jacket is great, too!

I’m glad to hear that you enjoyed the video! I really enjoy the century denim since it’s so unique and beautiful as a fabric. I actually jsut revived the new Frisko fit in the kakishibu persimmon dye. Look out for a video about those soon!

Hey man! Love your content and information, I just had a question though. I had a chance to try on the mud dyed pair. I’m a 34 waist so I tried on the 36 and they fit pretty well. Like you said they’ll stretch out, but will they shrink after a wash?? I was planning on wearing a bunch before wash anyways so I can try to get the fades and I’d go about doing it in a cold wash with hang to dry.

Considering they’re unsanforized, I don’t want them to shrink on me. I’ve got a buddy in Japan right now and I’m gonna have him pick a pair up for me but wanna make sure I get the correct size before hand

If you like the fit of them when you tried them on then I wouldn’t worry at all about it. If you gonna wash cold and hand dry there should be no issues at all. I just recently washed my new Frisko pair and they didn’t shrink much anywhere outside the length.

How well do you think I can get century denim hemmed? You think the sashiko would be an impediment to hemming?

I had my first pair hemmed by a local tailor no problem. A professional tailor though not a dry cleaner type tailor. It wasn’t a chain stitch hem but it worked

I'm 6 feet. What's the size of the jacket in the video and what size is right for me?

I’d say it mostly depends on your shoulder size not your height. I’d measure a jacket that fits you well and pick the option that matches that best
