I have the same exact bike sitting in my garage with 39k miles....what a great machine! Get rid of the 200 rear tire for a 190 and you'd be surprised how well it handles for such a big bike. The green missile!

Absolute rocketship, proud owner of a 2001. Rode it across canada and rhe USA, more comfortable than a sports bike but not by far lolll. Will launch you into outspace, my '04 gixxer 1000 just doesnt have the same kick. Owned a blackbird before it and while i think the blackbird handles better it just doesnt have that ferociousness of that kawi engine.

Torque wise its a little more than the zrx1200 but way more top end. My zrx1200 is enough for me and can hurt my back if Im not ready for the pull up to 100mph. I cant imagine another 10 ftlbs with 50+ more hp.

I really wish honda and Suzuki went back to big/ top speed bikes again and challenge the H2R The Busa and ZX1400 have stood alone for along time and the K1300S got no love after the S1K came around. People forget how nice it is to be on bikes like these that arent dorky touring bikes

An epically fast bike, even today! I have an A2 ZX12R in my collection with just 4900 miles.. it’s almost ‘as new’ condition.. Love it! Kawasaki are the masters of fast bikes.. Edit, mine has a full Ti Akrapovic exhaust fitted, but I have the full oem system stored in bubble wrap. Worth mentioning, the 12R was the first sportbike to come with aero.. the small wings on the fairings, and even the fork lowers were designed with wind deflectors.. OG boss hyper bike 🔥🤛🏼

Great bike, bought a low mileage 2000 model 5 years ago, had it for a couple of years, loved it but had a zzr1400ps at same time which is faster and better, which is the reason i sold the 12💚

I have two of them, one 00 model pearlescent white, unrestricted full Ti Akrapovic full race exhaust, SS braided brake lines, Galfer rotors, Power Commander, 01 model, identical set up Midnight candy blue, 37K miles on the 00, 25K miles on the 01. Also got a Candy Green 00 rolling chassis I'm putting an 08 1400 motor in. Then the MV Augusta 05 F4S with about 2500 miles, all for the Red, White and Blue. Love yer work keep em coming. A friend of mine had one. said it would do 100mph in first gear! persueded me to part with my dinosaur GSX1100. got a ZXR 750h. (best handling bike i've ever had) But i actually prefer my old GSX. i loved wrestling that thing through corners (curves usa) 😁

Owned a red 2000 zx12r . The A1 ( 2000-2001 ) are known for having a weak clutch basket. Drive them really hard and the basket will Grenade. Happened to mine. I would never buy another one unless I planned on putting in a billet basket.

I found a 1998 1100 XX SUPER BLACKBIRD that was like this one , the guy I got it from bought it from the original owner ,it was garage kept low miles and in beautiful condition , it doesn't have original exhaust, it has custom made , they remind me of a Vance Hines short stacks I would say, but very loud , they look awsone,everything else original , and I've had it ever since , such a well designed and well built bike , sport touring , regular maintenance, never had a problem with it , the last year they were carbureted,it's a beast , just like this Kawasaki beautiful

That is one fucking droolworthy and sick bike. I remember those ZX-12r's. Fast as hell. Your buddy really took great care of this bike. Beautiful Color. This bike will most definitely keep up with a Hayabusa or ZX-14. Quite possibly could beat both. I couldn't own a bike like this. Don't have the necessary self control needed. I would have a shit ton of speeding tickets and my local police department would hate me. Lol...Awesome Video Brother. PS.
