@@BullfrogRoofs All you have to do is gear the bike down with the sprockets and you're capable of most any speed, It just takes a little longer to get there, A bigger front sprocket and a smaller back sprocket is all you need, Most new bikes are capable of crazy speeds, With just playing with the sprockets alone, My funnest bike was a 1972 Kawasaki G5 100cc, It would do 65/70mph when I 1st got it, Then I put the biggest front sprocket and almost the smallest back sprocket I can find, It would go between 110 and 120Mph, You would need about a 2 mile stretch to get it there, I was 14 years old and the bike lasted me a couple of summers, Now my son's got a 03 Hayabusa 40 anniversary, and 5 minutes on that's all you need, The bike is fast enough stock, But he put a 1or2 tooth bigger front sprocket, and bigger injectors on #1 & #4 cylinder only, and I believe he put a Power Commander 3 box, And the thing is stupid fast, You're over 90 miles an hour as soon as you shift in to second gear, Then second gear will take you around110/120mph, And then there are still 4 more gears, I believe it's done over 170 at Barbara's motor speedway in Birmingham, In 5th gear, With 1 more gear to go,

Kawasaki was able to afford the R&D for this, likely due to no longer competing in MotoGP, after the economic recession of 2007-08, and focusing on their commercial products and world SBK.
