I'm sure you guys know from racing bikes, but when Jr. gets better in the E36 he should look at getting better brake pads and fluids so they don't fade faster than he progresses. I used to work in a shop that endurance races e36 m3's.

@@KaplanCycles I believe it. I am surprised they let that guy take it out for his first time, the guy who bought it had no idea what he was getting into. The RS is based on a rally car, it literally has a "donut mode", where you can enable it, punch the gas, turn the wheel, and it will blow donuts without you really having to do anything to adjust for going out of control.

Kap- look at a 2008 or newer Porsche Cayman S as a possible track car candidate. It’s becomes a well sorted very fast and enjoyable track car with a couple mods.

Tom nelson of nelson racing engines builds the most reliable V8 engines there ever has been built in the entire world as he cuts engines heads intake from solid blocks of forged billet aluminum and builds his own tuned headers out of inconel to mount his mirror image inconel turbochargers that is one turbo is exactly made opposite of the other and it turns opposite of the other as these are the only twin turbos in the entire world that has ever been made in such a way that Tom Nelson holds us patents on and he can take a small block Chevy configuration of his own and reliably run 2000 horsepower on pump gas and with race gas 2500 horsepower on up the engines never break I watched an hour and a half show about a Shelby call Code Red 1000 horsepower that made 1000 p u l l s on an engine dynamometer and registered 1000 horsepower for a 1000 times in a row then he tears down engine down right in front of the camera and with extreme close-ups expecting the bearings and crank journals the entire everything moving in that engine there was not a scratch on anything everything was bright shiny metal like it had never been started at so now he's building cars to put these engines into. Imagine 800 horsepower Corvette LS engine under the hood of that little Miata as today it ain't no imagination they do it all the time the I has a pretty heavy cast-iron 4-cylinder a Corvette engine LS is all aluminum only a hundred 50 lb difference doesn't affect the handling of the Miata at all 800 horses under the bonnet as Jeremy Clarkson would say will send you back to the Hoosier tire store many times per day

They may be any color but they're solid complete Mustang bodies with no under panties no suspension no glass no windshield no engine no transmission no nothing they're stripped out bodies they have been damaged in some way on the assembly line maybe a forklift hole right through the side of it but used to be able to get them for 5000 bucks brand new Mustang $10,000 and I think they went over $15,000 today but it doesn't matter what model Mustang you buy if it's $150,000 thousand horsepower GT500 Shelby it's the same body as a grocery getter and that's what KB racing would buy to build track car the KB way whereas I put $20,000 used Mustang another 25,000 4 mods when I could have bought a Mustang LX for $2,000 that is eight hundred pounds less weight Cobra Mustang and put $40,000 of go-fast parts in it but did not know this until it was too late asking my ex buddy who talked me into all this s*** as we were in the infield at the Indy 500 during a Mustang show ask Ron what an the hell is that thing and very jokingly he says oh that's a Mustang LX that's 800 lb lighter than your Mystic cobra and much faster much faster as the Mustang LX had the entire Cobra drivetrain already in it along with the Brembo brakes that they come with the only thing missing was all the electric windows all the electric adjustable seat lumbar control some kind of 800 watt stereo that was in the Cobra vanity mirrors about 800 lb of electric motors and wiring harness all electric mirrors everything a Lincoln Town Cars got was in the cobra but not the mustang LX that was all business and no power anything you had to roll up the windows but under Hood was a modified Cleveland 302 that came stock with a crane camshaft crane roller lifters and crane roller rocker arms one-sided rocker arm said crane the other side said fomoco kzbin.info/www/bejne/fYWYg5Zupsl9Z5o You are going to find that parts from Ford Racing a lot of just Rebox prelabeled aftermarket parts of the best quality though that like lowering springs for the Mustang might be from eibach a lot of times and when you get Ford Motor Sport racing differential gears when you're changing the ratio they might be from strange engineering you see what it is with Metallurgy there's only one mixture of alloy that will survive at all Ford Motor Racing buy them from the cheapest bitter and place inside brown box with a blue Ford oval on it box it doesn't matter where they came from it's the metal they're made out of like morosos they'll be the exact same metal as Ford Racing or they won't race at all but burn up and smoke out into a puddle of melted Steel and don't buy a carbon fiber driveshaft aluminum driveshaft will last a little while until they destroy the U-joint mounting holes dot-dot-dot. the stock driveshaft from Ford Mustang are dead on balanced dynamically over 10000 RPM made out of steel and don't ever break or mess it up one of my buddies Mustang had over a hundred fifty thousand miles on the U-joints and they were still like brand spanking new with no play in them at all
