Reminds me of a turbo roundabout (civil engineering issues), a double circle cut diagonally and then moved by the cut and wrapped around. It fits like a left hand glove on your right foot. What I intended to say is that I really liked the story and how did the ends met.

This artifact is really interesting. It did get a little discombobulating near the end with the sudden change in timescape. I was able to figure out what was happening, but it definitely broke the illusion. Still a really intriguing story!

I love the story. Listened to it again and loved it even more. I thought that was a personal eccentricity but recently read that most people enjoy a book or movie more the second time around.with hindsight that should have been obvious since we go back to Shakespeare, the Greeks, operas and other great play rights when we already know the story. Rowe’s page discussing this story may give some aid to those who are stymied. Also the fun of paradox stories is the twist they put in your brain.

That does make sense. It think most art must be like that, especially music. There's definitely pieces of music I don't think I could ever grow tired of, and beautiful paintings and architecture continue to endure for generations. So glad you enjoy this one, Theresa!

I was compelled to listen to this immediately after the preceding one. I am enamoured by the concept of paradoxes and this was as usual well written and engaging. I particularly found it interesting because, while im not a native kentuckian, i now reside in lexington. I am also delighted in any story with the cylinders. The archealogix story was the one that first read and got me hooked on this work. Thanks as always.

Awesome. As distinct yet abstract as they are they have a lot of potential. Perhaps w backstory on their origin or interwoven w another tale. The concept of aliens us and perhaps will always be an enigma. However. You set a scene in the future where such things are common place then add the element of something beyond that. I like that approach.

Commentary at the bottom of that page was the best I could do for an explanation that week, Felicity. If by show notes you mean the video description, I've got a link to my support page where the address is posted. That way if I change any one of those links in the future I don't have to retroactively change 40+ video descriptions. That's the thinking.
