I have so many little theories going through my head, I swear to God. The necklace, Tyr holding the blades, the Valkyries saying "pretendant God FOR the all-father" (implying that this God is working for Odin), but the thing that takes the cake for me is the mural at 1:40 in your video. We see Yggdrasil and the 9 realms attached to it with their hierarchy. What stands out the most is that Jotunheim is marked by a cross, like it was eliminated, and that checks out based on what we learned in GoW 2018, but it's not the only marked realm: We can see that Midgard and Alfheim are crossed as well, implying that they faced a similar fate to Jotunheim. Is at that point when Tyr goes above all realms with the wolves and travels somewhere else (maybe going back in time?). Man this has SO MUCH INFO

It makes sense. Everything up till now has been Odin, behind the scenes, pulling the strings and manipulating everything for himself. They need to take that control from him. That's why in the original myths he imprisoned Loki and his children, to stave off Ragnarok, so it makes sense in this version he wants Loki and to manipulate and push him so he'll do what Odin wants when he wants it done without realising.

This trailer is very revealing! They know of Kratos from the stories told by the gods. "Pretender god... Birth of your father" - Valkyries "What do you know of godhood... Have you ever been worship... could you imagine that much love"- Tyr(Edit: supposedly this is Odin speaking). They don't know Kratos was a full blown god when he was younger that received worship & love, praise from his worshipers. Kratos also experienced all of godhood (sitting on throne after killing Ares) and lost it all as well(GoW2 when Zues kills Kratos, after he seen Zues killing "almost" all his worshipers his final words was "you will pay..." . Kratos experienced all of godhood and lost most of what the Nordic deities considered godhood. None the less Kratos is still a God-Titan hybrid. The ashes of Prometheus are still bonded to his skin, seed of the king of the gods"Zues" and still have the power of hope after giving it to humanity. The rage mode of GoW 2018 and GoW Ragnarok the fire aura in rage mode is the same as "Rage of The Titans" the only difference is Kratos isn't molten lava.

When Zeus destroyed sparta in gow 2, The last spartan soldier said "people begged for their God(kratos) to save them(from Zeus) but you would not come". It means Odin doesn't know everything about Kratos. And yes the rage of the titans looks like the rage of sparta in the new games those were my thoughts too.

They don't know his side of the story they only know him from the Gods perspective(Zues, Poseidon, Hades). I guess the gaints knew of Kratos and disapprove of him because they just see him as destruction, the end of everything.
