Gotta say I love this software because there are no bs watermarks. Like Filmora's takes up half the screen for the whole vid. And this is also super easy to use. 100% suggest. Edit: yeah it’s not really that good anymore since instead of any video under 3 minutes is without watermark it’s now only 3 videos without watermark. Also the premium is insanely expensive compared to other software so imo it’s maybe a 60%

Quick tip for new, new users: If you have to scroll down the bar a little, make sure you click on some part of your project so the box is lined in yellow. It can be extremely sensitive. And it can jump vertically and horizontally at once. Very annoying. But easy to avoid. You'll know what I'm talking about if you've done this.

In general, SD (standard definition) projects will take about the same time to process as the length of the project; while HD (high definition) projects will take about twice as long as the length of the project. If your project is taking longer than that please email us at [e-mail]

If your video is more than 30 minutes or contains more than the 250MB file upload limit that may be why you are having issues! If those aren't the issue send an email to [e-mail] for better assistance.

Hello CarolinaReaper! Free users do have a limited time period to edit and download their projects. We have a 2 day editing time window for Free user projects due to the high storage costs associated with keeping projects editable for a longer period of time. You have 48 hours from the moment that your project was created to finish and download it. After that, your project will lock, but you can upgrade to Pro at any time to access older projects again. If you need to work on a project for longer than 2 days, I recommend upgrading to Pro. We're a small startup, and every video costs us money. The Pro payments are the only way that we're able to offer most of our tools for free. If you need more editing time within a Free account workspace, you can use our "Make a Copy" feature to make a new copy of your project that will have another 48 hours of editing time. You can do this by clicking the ⋮ on the bottom right hand corner of your project, in your Workspace view. This will open a dropdown menu with the option to "Make a Copy". Please note that you will need to do this prior to the project locking. If your project is already locked, unfortunately, our team will be unable to provide support. I don't know what's going on but your servers lately have been SEVERLY slow. I've spent an hour so far trying to download a :58 second KZbin short with no success. It never use to be this way but all day I've been having issues. Edit: It's been almost two hours and still can't download any of my short videos. I found out your server keeps trying to download an "video image" layer for no reason and I can't make it stop doing this.

Hello! I'm not sure I understand the issue so feel free to correct me, but if you create a video on Kapwing for free, we do "lock" the video after exactly 48 hours since we are a for profit company. If you know your project will take more than two days, I would recommend making a copy of the project on the second day, if that becomes redundant you can pay for the PRO account on a month by month basis (just be sure to cancel before the next pay period if you don't want it to auto-renew).
