Can't read Japanese :-/ It is good to see some of the Japanese aircraft - other than the Mitsubishi A6M. To my mind, far too much footage of Allied & German aircraft is shown in media, & the significant technological achievements of other nations ignored. It is particularly good to see the Kawasaki Ki 100 & Kawasaki Ki 61. The Ki 61 was the only non radial engined Japanese fighter - using a licence built (German) DB 601 inverted V12. It is my opinion; not corroborated by anything I've read or heard; that it was, in fact, a copy of the Heinkel He 100/112/113 that had been rejected by Germanys RLM, & the built aircraft sold off or given away to other countries (Romania received some I believe).
Although Japan was totally defeated it was a shame almost all of their aircraft were pushed into piles & burned. A lot of technology was destroyed. Aircraft should have been preserved for the sake of history.
