Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, we got married June 2013 and quickly caught the travel bug! We started “travel hacking” and taking more trips together and finally decided we wanted to travel for one year. After 2 years of saving $ and travel hacking over 2 million miles and points, we sold our cars and apartment and left home January 10, 2016. We started this KZbin channel to share our experiences with friends and family, then decided we really liked vlogging and traveling. So we extended our 1 year trip to THREE years :) Now we have a goal of traveling to 100 countries before 2020! We are incredibly thankful to do something we love every day. :)

I HATE when people stand against the baggage claim belt! They block everyone else from seeing their luggage and get in the way when you go to get yours before them. Plus they all just look stupid doing it before the baggage is even there. It's a huge pet peeve of mine to the point where I even stop the people I'm traveling with from doing it. ... Great video btw! lol I've never been in an airport lounge or thought of it as something I may need as part of my travels until I started watching you guys.

I was just there a few weeks ago, I'm in Turkey now. Both are such beautiful countries, two of the best places I've been to in the world, and amazing food and cultures. I think your vlogs are probably a few weeks/months behind so you may already have left, but I wouldn't go to Batumi, considering the amount you have traveled, it's not that great. Tbilisi is awesome, hiking in Kazbegi is nice too :)

I know how you feel... :/ Heading to Poland from South Australia last year was about 26 hours of flying (ADL-SYD-AUH-FCO-WAW)... Coming home to South Australia has about 24 hours of flying time using Etihad & Virgin Australia (FRA-AUH-SYD-ADL)... Adding in the connections, security, and customs & border control easily gets you over 30... Thank goodness for lounges in AUH & SYD...

Not everyone is fortunate to have a luggage that is in right position for easy grab-n-carry every time. I had to deal with it many times when my large, heavy backpack wasn't in right position where the grab bar on top would be easily accessible. Sometimes the airlines would shrink-wrap the shoulder and waist straps: when that happens, the only option was to puncture the shrink-wrap open or try to grab the whole backpack. That means bumping into the selfish idiots who don't move out of the way and who blather in unholy terror when I bump into them.
