Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, we got married June 2013 and quickly caught the travel bug! We started “travel hacking” and taking more trips together and finally decided we wanted to travel for one year. After 2 years of saving $ and travel hacking over 2 million miles and points, we sold our cars and apartment and left January 10, 2016. We started this KZbin channel to share our experiences with friends and family, then decided we really liked vlogging and traveling. So we extended our 1 year trip to THREE years :) Now we have a goal of traveling to 100 countries before Nate turns 30 (which is March 20, 2019)! We are incredibly thankful to do something we love every day. :)

I love how positive they are as tourists because some vloggers are pretty negative about how a particular a location is. And these two are just so adjusting and understanding of the way of life in other countries and I think that's what some other particular vloggers should remember you know - That the whole point of exploring another country is about experiencing everything the country has to offer, the good and the bad and to take it as it comes with a smile. Sending so much love your way :)

During my first visit to India, two of my friends became ill (one had to be hospitalized for over a week) after eating street food. It wasn't something I wanted to experience, so I swore off street food. Please understand I love India. That's obvious since I have traveled there 15 times. It's one of the most beautiful countries I have ever visited, and the people are just like Kara and Nate have encountered; friendly, helpful, hard working, and funny. I highly recommend traveling to India if given the chance.

FireCracker3240 I was wondering about the general aroma of the entire experience. Maybe with the next video y’all can (discreetly, if offensive) describe the smells y’all are experiencing. The visuals are overwhelming and we can see your faces when you eat, but what do y’all smell? Good or bad; doesn’t matter. I grew up in Chicago and have been to NYC, LA, Miami, Houston (I live here now) & many more places in the US...the smells are not always wonderful, but definitely distinctive. It would be great if y’all could relate some of that sense to us. Thanks and great vlog as usual. 💜🖤

I've noticed that so many foreigners who visit India usually go to the same old places. I get that Delhi, The Taj Mahal, Rajasthan, etc are all well renowned but there are sooo many other beautiful places in India like Kerala, Mysore and Ooty in the south! Plus these places arent as crowded and polluted and you won't feel so much of a culture shock there.

But, sometimes I think the wait staff does that for Caucasians to show them what a value they are getting....’see how much NAan we give you, do you see?’ Seeing how far you’ve come in appreciating different people and their culture and differences, I’m so glad you are seeing India now. You are one cynical woman, "see how much Naan we give you, do you see" or it could be just that, they wanted to present the dish to them in all its full glory. And not surprisingly you know diddly squat. Caucasians? WTF does that suppose to mean, got news for you lady, I don't know from which ignorant part of the world you come from. White skin doesn't mean being Caucasian, white skin color is just lack of melanin. Indians are also Caucasians, in fact the Caucasoid race emerged out of India. Touch every piece of Naan you foolish woman they made it using their own hands, stick to your hand sanitizers and your Germo phobic lifestyle.

The tourists always visit the Delhi or Mumbai regions of India. I realise that these are the main cities, hence the crowd and chaos, but this leaves a limited impression on the tourists. India has 38 UNESCO world heritage sites plus there are so many Wildlife sanctuaries and parks, the south and middle India has amazing historic temples and caves, the northern India has beautiful snowy landscapes and valleys. India is so diverse and vast, the tourists need to actually research first and then come to India. Anyway enjoyed your video🙏🏻♥️
