It's so fun to see the reactions :D Winter surfing does indeed sap you and you only feel it once you're in your chill clothes chillin and eating afterwards. It's the best kind of tired. Winter surfing is extra fun I think because of the feeling of mastery you get (the entirety of the situation) and the "good tired" afterwards. But yeah I loved watching this, especially because it brings back great memories.

I love watching Kinging it, Eamon and Bec, Max & Occy and the vanwives. I had to stay home this winter (Alaska) and not travel so I would watch videos on KZbin and live Vicariously through you all. Spring is around the corner and I cannot wait until the snow melts and get more daylight. I was diagnosed with breast cancer in July 2022 and had surgery, radiation treatment and hormone therapy and had to stay home to get checked every 3 months. Hopefully this coming winter the check ups will be every 6 months so I can travel again. I have such a different outlook in life because of my experience this past winter. I feel nothing but gratitude about the littlest things in life. Something like this changes your life forever. I cannot wait to get back out there and travel again. I’m hoping to start a KZbin channel but that remains to be seen. Lol. Take care.

Loved Kara's, "I could do that for 11 days, no problem". Actually, we did! Dec 14 - Dec 25, 2022 on Hurtigruten's MS Nordlys (sister ship to your Richard With). But we did it in a teeny inside cabin -- and still loved every minute of it. We combined the sailing with a few weeks traveling through Sweden, Denmark and other parts of Norway, most of it before we got on the ship. We are in our late 60's and it was definitely a "bucket list" trip for us which we recommend for everyone. FYI -- when you do a full 6 nt. northbound, 5 nt. southbound or 11 nt. roundtrip sailing, included in your fare are 3 meals per day, wifi and unlimited hot beverages. The food was consistently fantastic and the wifi was amazingly fast! Glad you experienced it, even if for only one night/day.

Back in the 80's my parents were in a van club, Phantom Vans, where they would all get together and do events, like camping trips, fund raisers, etc. My mom was the spokes person who would go on local tv and present the cheque on the telethon. My dad had a sparkly royal blue Chevy Van that he had built out to use while camping. It had all sorts of pin striping on the outside and each of my parents had their names under the window where they sat up front. It was called Rolling Blue. He use hydraulics to turn the bed he made into a bench for my brother and I to safely ride, with one touch of a button. It had a little kitchenet with a sink, fridge and food and dish storage. Lots of storage under the bed for camping gear. It was all made with teak wood and nice fabrics, good speakers, and hidden storage for weed lmao. So many fond memories.

I really do admire Eamon&Bec - they're great. But when it comes to hosting and being genuinely nice people - it's Craig and Amy who have absolutely no problem to host their guests even during night, ensuring them with the utmost comfort (and not making games where one couple should win the "privilege" to sleep in comfort).
