This comment does not have anything to do with this vlog. Just a general observation. Nate loves you so much Kara! It shows in the way he looks at you. You are so lucky! But I don’t blame him. You are so lovable and adorable.

Nate muscles grew a little bit. the the grin. Haha so fun. :D A beasty set up guys. I have traveled with canon 5 d back in the day plus a smaller camera. My arms were long as a monkeys at the end of the days. In additin maling sure that batteries and memory card lasted trough out the day. Phew! So respect for all of that gear. It is weirdly enough a hard knock life carrying all of that along.

Two things I would recommend: 1) I assume you have a spinning Hard drive in the Macbook pro. I would replace it with a SSD. You can get one on amazon for fairly cheap. I would go with a 1TB Samsung EVO SSD. It will speed up your computer A LOT. Also that means you wont have to worry about the HD failing on you on the road since the SSD isn't a spinning drive and there are not moving parts. 2) There is a power Strip made from Mogics that is called a power bagel and donut. They are shaped like a donut and have 4-5 universal power outlets on them. It will save you some space.

It may sound gross... but, if you wipe some spit on the GoPro case, water droplets will not be so bad. We use ours for whitewater kayaking and that does the trick for reducing water spots. Thanks for sharing all your gear! Y’all make some wonderful vlogs! I can’t wait to see what y’all do in 2020 !

I am wondering what you do for protecting your cameras and lenses from humidity? I just got a Canon Rebel t8i which is not sealed and we are traveling (well, once COVID lets us) a lot. Much in humidity. Do you have any pointers for this? I have heard to put those little silicone packets in with the equipment, to acclimatize it before using each day, the use of the microfiber towels etc. Is there a cover or bag that would work? Any idea would be appreciated. Thank you and we love your videos and enjoyed watching you both grow professionally and personally. Always a pleasure.

Our Canon S95 broke, probably for the best although having to buy a new camera while in Mexico was a struggle. Long story shorter we upgraded recently to the G7x Mark II and I have been blown away with that little guy. Maybe someday we will get into DSLRs, but they are just so big, and then you are carrying around all these lenses. I say maybe we will still get into it because if our channel takes off we will need to continue to shoot better stuff. We started out with the shot with what you have philosophy, and we just don't have room in our truck living for all the extra large gear. I hope some day we can afford a drone though. The one you featured is rad! Love the pack size. That bag does look very cool too. I'm going to check them out, thanks They do such a great job at showing an area for what it is. You mentioned the water spots on the gopro 5. Did they figure out a way to prevent that?

Love your videos! Do you guys have issues with the Sony A6500 overheating? I just filmed an event last night in March (cold) - it was indoors though, and after filming in 4k for 30 minutes the temp indicator light came on. I switched the battery as a short solution but it came back on. I’m worried how fast this will effect recording in the sun/heat while traveling! Thank you in advance!

I have a burning question I've wanted to know for a while. This seems like the perfect opportunity to ask. How do you keep all of this safe while travelling? Especially when sleeping in the airports?
@KaraandNate6 жыл бұрын
When sleeping in airports we always strap it to a limb or use it as a pillow😂 other than that just never leaving it out of our site when in transit!
@FireCracker32406 жыл бұрын
That's what I figured. It makes perfect sense. And, since you can't always have your neck pillow handy, why not lay on your bags? I'd like to see someone try to try something on you in that situation. I remember how you were about that guy in Marrakech. I bet he didn't mess with anyone else for quite some time. 😁😁😁

Your video is great as usual. I got a Mavic Air. I ride a motorcycle. For my next european trip, I bought a real waterproof rucksack Ortlieb 25 L which contains the Mavic air bag + all I need when I stop the bike. The backpack you show in the video is not waterproof by itself as far it needs a waterproof cover.

Hey guys, Just wanted to ask about the Sony A6500, are there any heating issues, if so after how long and do you face any issues while vlogging without a reversible articulated screen? I just found this, in fact I only found your VLOG when searching for info on campervans in NZ. Anyway, one suggestion. With your powerstrip you need only one plug adapter but you still need multiple AC->USB power converters, one per device. I've solved the problem with an Anker PowerPort; I have a 5 USB port model, so one plug an I can charge 5 devices at a time. They have a newer 10 port model (www.amazon.com/Anker-10-Port-Charger-PowerPort-iPhone/dp/B00YRYS4T4/ref=dp_ob_title_wld) and some smaller 2-4 port models.
