Thank you for showing how to put the blade in the handle. You are the only person I have seen demonstrate that and I'm embarrassed because I had a hard time with it before!

April Ezell I'm glad it helped! I sure did need some help when I was starting out too ☺️
@theantonbomb5 жыл бұрын
you just keep the parts in. you can just slightly unscrew the top and just slide the cutters in and out. re-tighten. :)

I'm so glad you showed some of the carving in real-time! I've been seeing all these sped up videos so I was carving fast but now I know it's normal to go slowwwww.. Any suggestions for carving detailed/tight areas- should I not apply too much pressure?

Thank you, Lisa! Check out my latest video--the topic is mental health but I carve a detailed ruler. You can see how I do it :) Hope it helps!

Hey, what a lovely video. Just stumbled upon your channel. I wanted to ask- is there a way to recycle/reuse the tiny pieces of waste rubber? Can I melt them and remould them into a new rubber block?

NO

I am a stamp carver & a plastics recycling artist. Unfortunately, I have yet to find recyclable stamp carving material. I even contacted Speedball asking the question & they said no too. 😞

I've always just unscrewed the tool a bit and slid the nib in to put it together. It's much more convenient than unscrewing the whole thing... It just seems like this whole video is just taking the long way around everything. Some of the things are completely unnecessary. You do not need to use the same piece of tracing paper to draw each piece on. You do not need to trace the shape of the rubber bit. It just causes more of a headache.
