I lived directly under the school in the big old house with the pool. I spent all my time in the bush and the river, walking, and exploring the mines. A fabulous beautiful place to be a kid... I miss it still

I friend of mine helped open that tunnel to the public back in the 80's apparently he said there was about 12 inches of soot stuck to the roof of the tunnel from the steam engines.
