I really am not playing the "One-up" game, but to say I understand and respect everyone's hard work in their individual careers. I thank you all for what you do, it made my time as a U.S. Marine worth while (Retired Marine with 20 years). I too look forward for his videos. I have about 4 or 5 steady channels I look forward to watching each night before I go to sleep. You English is getting better Karanvir! Keep up the great work!

KSN great to see your vlogs from onboard again. First weeks away from loved ones is a challenge I can say that as a military veteran. If time permits and people are willing it would be good to hear some of the crews stories, how they became seafarers and what drives them to keep signing on. Greg 🇬🇧

This takes me back to the 1960s and the reporting onboard of three different ships I served on... An old WW2 LST (Landing Ship, Tank) in the tropical far east, was the most memorable with HELLISH living and working conditions. The almost weekly adventure of visiting different obscure ports and locations along with a few major cities made it a priceless memory. I know there are many 1000s of seamen today on the lesser coastal vessels that experience the same kind of conditions, far different than the spacious "luxury" that these giant modern ships provide. I really enjoy your videos and seeing the ports you visit.

Your cabin looks quite comfortable. I am impressed with your "work ethic" and your honesty about your feelings about being away from your family and close friends. I would be interested in how container ships handle security against pirates but understand that is probably one subject that you can't discuss because of the need to keep it confidential. Wishing you a smooth and safe cruise.

Several things seem to be in your favour working on these ships. This company looks to be pretty good to work for. The equipment and facilities look good. The crews are friendly. And most of the captains have been decent. Container ships have quick turnarounds. So not a lot of port time. And the hours suck. But generally pretty good. You have a lot of connections at home so bound to play on your mind. 25 years ago I left home. Flew to the other side of the world, where I didn't know one person. And I am still here. Determination not to give in got me through. Being at sea for months is a mind game. The responsibility and work load must help with that. It is generally when you aren't busy the mind wanders.

Usually the passage plan would also have a briefing with the bridge team , ( maybe engineers if required ) . The passage plan is very important, as if there are any collisions , allisions of the ship, the passage planning , along with VDR records are the first things to be checked. Maybe this had not been carried out here , due to fast turn around times , or maybe before KSN boarded- but this is not the norm.

KSN i honestly cannot even explain to you in words how much i appreciate your videos, i have got all the respect for you in the world as even how busy you are on ship the quality videos and knowledge that i gain from your videos are of top quality, i thank you for this KSN. I also just wanted to let u know that i came across your channel about 2 years ago and started looking into maritime studies, so a huge thank you to you because i was inspired by you to join nautical school and just preparing myself for the difficult cadetship ahead because it will be my first ship so just going to need to keep strong and have a clear mind. I look forward to life at sea season 4 and please keep on making videos forever. I thank you sir for all your hard work always 🙏❤️.

What you must remember is that the world cannot survive without ships delivering all sorts of things from one part of the world to another. Planes can only carry a certain amount of goods but ships are needed to carry bulk items. Keep up the good work and remember 'onwards and upwards'.

Karanvir I came across a fascinating seafarer story today. You probably may already know it given your profession. It is about SS Warrimoo that sailed on Dec31, 1899 over International dateline, equator...was in two centuries, two weathers, two years, two dates, two hemispheres all at the same time. Just thought I'd share it. 😊 0:01
