What is the name of the throwing technique at 2:05?
@DanielPyatt4 жыл бұрын
It has several names given by different groups based one whether you name is based on a principle or action. It is most commonly known as variation of Yoko Wakare or tani otoshi and is often called valley drop throw in English. There is also a version of tani otoshi perhaps more common in judo which is typically performed to the rear but it’s essentially the same principles.

So.. this techniques belong to a particular style of Karate or are possible to be added to any Karate Style? Thanks.

Sebastian Benitez possible to be added to any style, techniques are never limited by style only by imagination... and perhaps technical understanding

@@DanielPyatt Yessir it's technical understanding. We do what we are taught. If you have never been exposed to it it's because you've never been around someone who learned it. To know is to dispell that lack of understanding and ability. So I believe you are correct. People in the west are new to the old karate because it's not profitable here and many don't seek to learn it or teach it for that reason. Me?
