As a Chinese, although I have seen many performances of traditional Chinese martial arts, I still feel a great deal of respect when watching the various videos of 中先生. It's admirable how he generously shares his knowledge with the world through the internet and openly exchanges ideas with other martial artists. He is a very approachable person and also a highly skilled martial artist.👍
All of this make me remember of my senseis teaching front knee relaxing plus a bonus from naka snesei! Thank you for sharing! It is good to have a refresh!
First. Your strikes are so fast, that your fist "appears" and we hear the "crack"of your kimono to let us accept that you actually moved. Omedeto, for your strike technique. 2nd In my country they have a saying, "You have mastered a skill when you are able to teach it". Even if I can't replicate the technique, I understand the lesson. Thank you Sensei for your lessons.
Amazing Naka sensei and amazing video series. Congratulations.

I am not a fan of JKA shotokan but this SENSEI do not perform like them, this guy is very open minded, some of his move look like Shotokai (Egami), and some move like Traditional Shotokan like Oshima Karate....fast and focus..... respect 👍
Never forget our Sensei teaching us side step gyaku tsuki.Very effective.

Ohhh! Sensei Naka. Thanks a million, this is a great lesson. I was always wondering how to disguise my attack & intent. This relaxing & rod tuski style is awesome! Bending in front with the front knee / centre of gravity forward is fabulous. Arigatou Gozaimasu.

Cool I see this kind of staff training from DK Yoo as well as the “natural punch” good to see other martial arts are also using it
Reminds me of the book I read several years ago, or was it maybe a youtube instruction? I don't remember well but I do remember it said "your hips move first, the legs follow" now I see and know what it meant and what it should look like. Awesome!

He showed this technique in other videos but i cant seem to understand the execution, only knew that the shoulders stayed the same when rushing forward. But at the beginning of the video, i finally understood the technique thanks to the stick and gyaku tsuki explanation
