Something I want to see happen is when you cure the horde, all the corrupted blocks turn to some sort of dead sculk, and the phantoms try to escape to make smaller hordes

So they refined the way to defeat the Horde? It used to be purified soul to right clock on the node. It's not really a "new way", but a finished way.

Well, it's a new way in that you don't have to destroy all nodes to do it. The purified soul on the old way wouldn't work without all other nodes being destroyed. Helps with stuff like if someone protected a node with a land claim or something that'd make a node unbreakable and then the sculk could never be defeated

Well now, you don't have to destroy every node. Before, you did which would be a huge problem if the horde had way too much mass.

Idk why but I never noticed the fact your skin has sculk on it for most if not all the infection showcases(I need to check) cool detail- I was watching one of the spellbook things and noticed your skin didn't have sculk on it so yeah-

I had an idea for something that could happen after you inject the Ancient Node with the Heart of Purity: instead of the Heart of Purity basically hijacking the Ancient Node and killing the Horde, it just kills the Ancient Node, and drains, say, 50% of the Horde’s mass. The Horde will still function, and try to consume your world, but it will be less smart, operating as if it had one less brain node than it did. It would have the maximum amount of brain nodes it could have at a time reduced to four, although existing ones it had before the killing of the Ancient Node would continue to function. Your goal, now, would be to kill all the brain nodes and remove the Horde’s mass, although it won’t be easy, as the Horde will try VERY hard to stop you (it’s not like before, when the Horde had the Ancient Node to operate off of. Now, these nodes are it’s *only* remaining brain.). Once all of its brain nodes are dead, it will no longer be able to spread. It will grow another brain node, or if it doesn’t have enough mass to create one, it will start to cannibalize itself for mass, un-infecting the edges of it’s reach, until it has gained enough mass it can create another brain node (to prevent spore spewers and phantoms from continuing to live in an area that had been cannibalized and un-infected, once the Ancient Node dies, any spore spewers and dropped sculk phantoms not within 5 blocks of a sculk block would slowly die, like they had the wither debuff). If it can’t get enough mass from cannibilizing itself to create another brain node, it will still cannibilize itself, until there is no more sculk to eat, at which point, congratulations! You’ve defeated the Sculk Horde! (The Horde has no brain, it isn’t smart enough to realize it will kill itself)

The way Mike puts it (Mike is the mod developer), I think the horde acts something like a cancer, and if you think of the wardens as a immune system for the normal sculk it makes perfect sense the warden fights the horde

But we don't know yet If they are well okay It could go deeper by saying that wardens were meant to defeat the hord but were killed and use sculk as it's energy to stay "alive" and every sound will be considered as a creature of hord I'm not a writter so yeah I know this lore is terrible but it could go like that So if warden are ennemies of the hord it would mean there should have a feature where we can purify the warden so they can be our ally. Tk if you managed to read all of this

Are there any mods that showcase a vanilla mob uprising. Like if there are a groups of skeleton in one area, they slowly gather and start to grow in units with new variety of skeletons like a horde. If the horde start to get huge, it will conquer settlements and start to produce their own unique elites and a leader.

I don’t know about that but I do know there used to be an ender infection mod/add-on for Bedrock. I don’t know if there’s a java version or not but it had a similar concept to the sculk horde but with ender being the infection instead of sculk.

The invasion mod is similar with waves in all, but it would definitely be pretty cool if mobs were more sentient. I can just imagine having a kingdom and all the outer villages got overran. Now its just you and your soldiers vs a whole horde of enemies breaking into your walls. Would definitely need to be optomised and you would prob need a pretty beefy pc.
