The mod came after the article, and is not affiliated with it in any manner other than sharing subject matter. The sculk horde mod might not predate the article, but it does predate the mod that adds the described pathogen into Minecraft. Furthermore, why are you bringing up the article when this is about the mod adding it, not the scp wiki article?

I think this mod would be very cool mixed with deeper and darker, so when you activate a other side portal the infection begins and you need some items from the other side to stop the infection (maybe items from the stalker or something like that)

ngl, this is the best infection mod in my opinion. as weird as it sounds, it feels kinda at-home with minecraft, with tons of mobs having infected variants and even having their own purposes that relate to vanilla minecraft like the bees. it also never just goes completely off the rails like Scape and Run either

Sculk really is mid sadly. You do not get anything from this mod. The fungal infection spore mod gives you insane gear for killing infected mods, but the sculk mod just infects and thats it

here's a brief experience on testing bro's modpack with this as the central component, he made for the gang's 2 week: "Why is this whole area cleared out?" *I hear Ferrous from Mozie's nearby clapping cheeks* "Hot damn," *Ice and Fire Stage 5 dragon in the sky.* "HOLY SHIT, WHAT HAPPENED, I WAS AFK FOR 5 MINUTES" Edit: This motherfucker has Iron's Spells and Create on the pack, with minecolonies, good God, he has mekanism and botania, this was supposed to be 2 weeks not 2 fucking centuries. Fr justbegun checking the modvlist: -Twilight -Apotheosis -Artifacts and Relics -All of the YUNG mods -,Dungeons and Taverns -More Mekanism Mods -Monster girls and Mermaids -Distant Horizons Holy shit, it just keeps on going. I am legitimately suspicious about this, He has Herobrine in here too for shit's and giggles. How is this 2 weeks. Alex's Caves and Mobs are in here too, I think He's going to add more

I am not really fan of how the mobs looks like. Most of them look like they would be stage 1 mobs in any other infestation mod, especially the ravager. It would be better if later stages introduced more mobs that dont look like vanilla mobs in shape and look like they are made of pure sculk like Warden.

it's designed around vanilla gear, unlike other infestation mods, so the mobs relatively weak compared to stuff like flesh that hates or spore
