I have never heard anything sound so amazing as to when Karen has brought life to the violin. She replaced a choir and never need any accompaniment. I met Karen when she moved to Portsmouth, Virginia and attended Alf J. Mapp Jr. High. She was in the Orchestra under the guidance of Mrs. Gerldine Harding. She earned first chair and my sister Chela second. They were both in TAM Youth which was Tidewater Area Musicians and got to play in dinner theaters in New York. She came to Jacksonville, Florida years ago and I missed her. If she comes again, I will bend over backwards to see her. May God continue to bless you Karen!
