She ROCKS! Such a beautiful, clear, angelic voice. She was an AWESOME drummer too. Such a tragic loss. The mid thru late 70's were very hard for her and her brother Richard. They worked so hard. Rainy Days and Mondays sounds wonderful on your system. That Crown CX 822 is killer! Take care and thank you for sharing!

Some of the best sounding Music came from the Carpenters, I really miss this easy listening music that use to be played wall to wall on Radio stations in the 1970's. Sad such music is eschewed today.

Had no idea Crown made such a gem! Gave it a listen on a Tube Radio instead of the laptop. Very enjoyable to hear that way! Pretty fitting the radio is a Commodore!

Outstanding. Those records have a dynamic range that few records achieve. And they remind me of being three or four

Excellent sound! When were these Crown machines produced? The knobs (bakelite?) remind me of military (Navy) equipment.

That is one awesom machine Matt. I tried calling you a couple of hours ago about me bringing my Akai to you. I look forward to getting it repaired.

What optimal maintenance does the Teac A6600 have for proper maintenance of the player? Oh, you have to grease and lubricate some part of the module, thank you, regards, Hello Maureice, I have a question about how to clean the heads of a Teac A6600. Can you make a video about it on the A6600? Is isopropyl alcohol used for cleaning? and how to clean it, thanks a greeting and a good like from a subscriber,,,,,

What speakers are you using? Mirage OM-9?
@5thcomm9 күн бұрын
Marty, I was sitting here comfortably, minding my own business when I read your question. Something told me "Matt, don't get up and march your fatass over to the speaker, move all that junk out of the way, stoop down, tilt the speaker over, just so you can read a %^&$'n label that you already knew Marty had identified!!! He can identify ANY piece of stereo equipment at a glance!!! I should have listened:-)
