One voice, one guitar and no place for talent to hide. Beautiful.

Certainly the most hauntingly beautiful version of Woody's song that I've ever heard. Had never hears of Karen Dalton until the Criterion Channel included a documentary about her in its June 2022 offerings.

A very under appreciated artist from the 1960's.....a Greenwich Village singer and songwriter!!....who sang and played along with many of the greats who made it out of the village....she did not!!.....check her story out.The singer and songwriter,Lacy J.Dalton, took her stage name(Dalton) in homage to this wonderful artist.

Yes, as Honorius Soularians said below, The Attic was actually in Boulder, Colorado - not Denver. Thanks for posting jens kamp : )

The Attic was in Boulder, not Denver, and became a rock club in 1968 called Endor, I didn't get to see Karen there but did get to see Von Ronk, Tom Paxton, and Richie Havens there. Boulder was a real musicians town back then and its sad that it is no longer. Denver has become the real music center in this region.
