The suburb of Karen borders the Ngong Forest and is home to the Ngong Racecourse. Karen and Langata jointly form a somewhat isolated area of mid to high-income residents.

The roads are in poor state.. Never maintained since independence ...narrow with chip Edges ..is an eyesore considering the rich Kenyans area!! No maintenance at All!!

Maintenance is needed however must of the Rich drive 4 wheel vehicles so they don't feel the impact of bad roads.

I reside in Karen and youve only explored one side of karen. The place is soo big,you should have taken a turn to The Hub mall,to windyridge,miotoni... you haven't even done quarter of Karen! If you went straight on on the roundabout on your way to Ngong, it's where Raila resides...very beautiful mansions. Nway next time do your research and visit in advance before making a video.

To be sincere i liked rhino house,catholic university,bomas of kenya and giraffe center.if you dont dont have a car you cant survive,you said most houses are gated there, muthaiga homes have servant quarter and pools, i dont understand why they say it is posh, maybe the serenity and ranches.
