The Karen symbol is becoming extremely prevalent during this coronavirus pandemic. I think it is because she represents our own demise, an inflation of ego and irrationality that brings death. She possesses traits opposite to the ones we need to grow and learn during times like these

I find memes as a concept very interesting. The term was coined by evolutionary biologist Richard Dawkins using evolutionary principles to describe the spread of ideas and culture in his book The Selfish Gene. It’s a good read if you have the time 🙂 🧬

@@The_Curious_Cow Karen's have a bit of truth with them, but they typically have no clue why or what that truth is...as in, they know someone great and good (through others admiration), but they aren't quit sure why that someone is actually admired...so they pick a hill to stand on, and are completely caught of guard when people didn't pick task over principle...pssst, today's Karen's will be justified when tomorrow's Karen's have no clue why principle needs a task....Side notes: Karen's, as the current meme goes, are never aware of the ebb and flow of social realities.

Karen: a meme used by people too lazy to more effectively label behavior they don't like, and the parrots that follow them. "Hey, Karen, it's all good. It's only a meme, a shield, a scar. We really are nice people, you know..." Enough of this childish name-meme mania already. People need to stop hiding behind (and abusing at the same time) the names of average people, and just use the terms that fit, whatever they are. I'm sure the name-callers would feel different if it were their names, or their spouse/child's name, or some ethnic/etc label that matches them and that they care about. Grow up, people. The emotional trauma that this callous behavior causes is real. This may seem to many just light entertainment, just swimming in or reflecting on the cultural context we find ourselves in. Well it sends and amplifies messages far beyond that, and you are responsible for your part in it. Please help the end-result of whatever you do or say in relation to this meme to have a more positive result for the specific people affected, and the maturity of our society in general.

Karen meme is great because it diverts some (albeit a small amount) of anti-white hatred towards white women.
