Right . The kid knew darn well what they were doing even if being encouraged on by his mommy.

Wow! What a concerned mother! Why didn’t she ring for an ambulance first? I’m not finished with this story, and it’s already 20 minutes since her brat broke his arm.

Not surprised that the second story happened in Texas.

Obviously, you’ve never been in Texas in August. Obviously, the writer of this story has never been in Texas at all. A guy wearing a tanktop is nothing. Hell, a girl wearing a tanktop is nothing. An 80 year old grandma wearing a tanktop is nothing. 😂😂😂😂

The "worst" "indecent clothing" case I have ever seen in the area I live, is when it was a HOT AS ALL H*LL summer and most people were wearing swim trunks while cooling off in pools (be it kiddie pools or the big ones you can set up and take down) and NOBODY, not even the oldest and most Karen of anyone around had anything against it (But then again, I don't live in Karen central, aka. the USA), the only "rule" (mostly just a "we all agree to this without it being written down" thing) was that just put on a pair of shorts and a top (be it T-shirt or tank top, didn't matter, just something) if you were leaving your property. There's few things I find more stupid than people who think they need to be "fashion police".

The black woman was 100% Biblically correct that people who choose to live in sin should be shunned from the church. Otherwise, they corrupt the church itself in sin. The "pastor's" attepmt to justify his own daughter's sin is weak and deflective as he tries to invoke his duaghter's "worth" and the gifts that God has given her. We are ALL given gifts from God. But it is our free will that allows us to betray those gifts and blessings by choosing sinful destructive behaviors. God does not go back on His word nor does He remove the gifts that He has given people. That's why pastors who are given the gift of gab are not immediately cast down when they rob people of their money. God is long suffering waiting and giving us every opportunity to repent before we die. There is no defending homsexualityor theft from the pulpit in the church. It is an abomination unto God. How many times does God need to tell you? Lying to yourself won't save you. Lev 18:22, 1 Tim 1:10, 1 Cor 6:9, Jude 1:7, Lev 20:13

The act of homosexuality as a sin in the Bible is due to the fact that in antiquity (the era in which this practice was labelled a sin) a different image of gender prevailed than today. We see men and women as different representatives of the same ‘human’ species. Back then, it was a spectrum in which perfect humans were men and the less perfect they became, the more feminine they became, until they were women. So if a man indulged in anal sex, he allowed himself to be penetrated, which was a practice that women embraced. Ergo, he became less valuable as a man, in the view of the time. That's why it was a sin. Women could not commit this sin, however, because they already constituted the dregs of the human species according to the view of the time. This is why there are no passages in the Bible in which homosexuality in women is rejected and only passages in which men are described as sinners. From today's perspective, of course, we know that the rejection of homosexuality is a relic of a disproved world view and absolute nonsense that is incompatible with Jesus' commandment to love one's neighbour as oneself. Ergo, anyone who quotes this relic in order to hate homosexuals is per se someone who violates the commandment to love one's neighbour intentionally. The pastor may not have been 100% biblically correct, but he understood the spirit of Christianity much better than the black woman.

first story is very possibly fiction. I've already read 'this' story, except it wasn't a female, but a male, and it took place in Ontario not British Columbia. Otherwise it's the same down to the co-worker not being able to work those hours because of his two kids.

Sadly Ontario and BC both have an assanine laws about IT professionals being overtime exempt. So does Alberta. I am an IT professional who has worked in all 3. I hear one of the martime provinces also has a similar assanine law, but I don't remember which one. At least the BC one doesn't apply to your tech support folks.
