He actually does that a lot. Usually he blinks both eyes really quickly. Behavior Panel calls that "shutter speed", but it's basically like a computer saying "Processing. Processing. Processing." It happens when he's deep in thought I've noticed. Especially noticeable in the trial where the two teenage girls died in a truck rollover by a set of railroad tracks recently, which has been on a few channels, including this one.

Could his dad be domineering and controlling and mentally/verbally abusive? Absolutely. 100%. But then that’s even MORE reason for you to go find a bunch of roommates, get a fast food or service job, and struggle for a couple years like all of us non-rich ppl did. If it’s THAT bad…GET OUT OF THERE! Like Judge Judy always said, if you don’t like it…MOVE!

I was recently told that no landlord should ever ask for more than 1/2 the cost of the mortgage from a renter. 🤯 Apparently, the renter is doing the landlord a big favor by paying for half of their mortgage. It’s still the landlord’s asset, so they should have to make part of the payments too. 🤯🤯🤯 Complete and utter hogwash. The audacity.

@@IDoABitOfTrollin.... and even if you do... you'll feed and water your puppy, let him have a potty break, enjoy your colouring book and the play doh (that you paid for) until there's order and peace in your world again. And then you'll put the doh and colouring stuff away so the puppy won't get into it. You'll have regulated your feelings, taken care of the dog and been responsible for your property, mindset and behaviour. And so you'll go forward with your life taking care of your business 😊. If you use a colouring book, go fishing, collect thimbles, use play doh, tinker with a clunker car, make cupcakes or build model airplanes...... all adults do something that aids their mental health and gives them a feeling of control in a crazy world full of variables. They do these things to fit around work and family commitments. These activities enrich our lives...... it's a problem if these activities are seen as an alternative to the rest of our lives

So let me get this straight. The first guy suffered from depression and had to constantly be hospitalized for that depression but he was never diagnosed with depression... Also he states that he is in an abusive household, which he claims is the cause of his poor mental health. So logically, he would need to stay in the household to improve his mental health.

@@catherinelynnfraser2001 It's easy to blame the parents, bc trust me - they blame themselves. We had 2 boys - one grew up hard-working and responsible, like we raised him, but his brother took a left turn once he went off to college. Once he dropped out and moved back home, it took kicking him out 3 times for adulting to finally kick in. He drank the liberal Kool Aid and had to suffer the consequences to realize we were right. Oh, and we had told both of them from the time they were in junior high that after high school, if they weren't in college but living at home, they WOULD be paying monthly rent.

Only if you develop a sense of empathy or go out and find responsibility yourself. This guy has neither. Another commenter made the point that he could be a danger to his parents because he'll blame them for all of his failure. He has no empathy, so I could see him turning to violence if he feels he's cornered. He's not prepared to be an adult in any sense of the word.

I'm GenX. All of my kids are millennials(my youngest barely made it). There are many people from different generations that refuse to accept responsibility for themselves and/or their actions. They are constantly in a state of trying to play the blame game instead of learning from mistakes. I can't wrap my head around it. Mistakes are an important thing for growth. If you "never make mistakes" then you can't learn from them and grow. It's a fact of life that we are human and therefore are not perfect.

@@IlikeDaCookie Eh idk, in some ways young people have more options. I drove lyft for a year, which I could sign up to via app, and I worked ALL the time(60- hours a week signed in, the maxium allowed, more like 80 hours a week on the road since would wind up somewhere else and sign off and drive to surge areas and wind up hours from home often), but was able to pull in around $2k a week(if I did a full 12 hours in a day, I'd average around $300, though could do $400ish on Fridays and saturdays, my best day was an all day labor day music festival, $700 one day, and two NYE both above $500, I did work every weekend and every holiday and was in Colorado and worked every snow storm too which paid well, range was between $1.8k-$2.6k, avg closer to $2k. Really would have been worth it to do the waitlist for their tesla rental - like $300 a week, which I'd spend on gas anyway, and wouldnt have wear and tear - and teslas qualify for premium vehicle). Anyway, just saying, boomers didn't have a chance to get a job that paid that much without an interview and training. Also not saying everyone should have to work 7 day weeks like I did(really was eat sleep work, nothing else at all, many all nighers etc. BUT, was an opportunity to get money to get money together, good for emergency. My best month was a december I made $10k, tons of canceled flights and bad weather with massive surges since no one else wanted to drive in blizzards and I'd do that shit in my lil sedan, this was near denver colorado and I'm sure above avg place to drive but still). Our gen is luckier than they realize. I laugh when people say the gig economy can't pay bills, no working 15 hour weeks can't pay bills is what they really mean(also working slow af, like I'd be near runnin in and out of a gas station to stay online during peak hours, spend 2 mins to eat a sandwhich to not sign off, etc etc, and most days hitting my 12 hour limit, and was staying in hustle mode, I'd seem some lazy ass door dash streamers that work in slow mo). ANYWAY, just saying, we have some good advantages over opportunities boomers had honestly. HOWEVER, with all that being said, I do feel like parents have are responsible for their dysfunctional kids to an extent, not like he was 40 years old. "in and out of inpatient" I'm not sure what type of inpatient treatment he had, but he's probably actually pretty screwed up if he was in inpatient pychiatric treatment multiple times(often for suicide attempts or some more serious disturbance, otherwise it wouldn't have been inpatient it'd been outpatient, inpatient in psychiatric context typically are involuntary holds). Really parents should have set an ultimatum to get a job and help facilitate a move. I think the parents in this case probably are also irresponsible. If their loser son will become homeless, that's not going to help, and they raised the gimp, sorta on them imo, and he's still young enough they should be able to figure this out without a court eviction.

That first kid...OMG! In my day we couldn't wait to get out on our own. I started babysitting at age 11 and worked steadily right on through graduation and all my adult life. I did have one child that had a few issues (shall we say) and he spent some time homeless and couch surfing because he was NOT allowed to move back in with me. Of course, I kept track of him through the grapevine of his circle of friends and despite hearing some of what he was going through...he remained on his own. He straightened up, got his G.E.D., joined the military and served honorably, got married and had children, has worked steadily and is making well over $100,000 a year, volunteers time to help others, and he thanks me on the regular for making him accept responsibility for his actions... thankfully it's understood the decision I made in saying "no" was done in and of love for him. He's very grateful for the lessons learned and is raising his own children to be stable, responsible adults. 💜

I’ve been a huge LTWM fan for years now, and the “antifa” thing is the only thing he’s said that caught me off guard. Antifa, or Anti-Fascist Action is essentially an organization without structure that keeps tabs on various white nationalist groups around the globe. It’s not an organization that “builds bombs” or whatever else he’s suggesting. It’s more or less the same thing as the KZbin law nerd community monitoring the various SovCit groups in this country. You can roast me in the comments, but I’m speaking the truth 🤷‍♂️

As a fellow Gen X, you and I usually agree on 8/10 situations. I just think you give a lot of political ideation to people you don’t agree with. If that kid votes, he’s voting for some Wadoo third-party candidate, who wouldn’t be able to get a law if he traded sexual favors for them. It is ridiculous that any kid (young adult) thinks that their parent not only should let them live at their house, but let them live for free. Or somehow would be damages because the relationship just wasn’t what that kid thought it should be😂😂😂 As far as antifa, it simply means anti-fascism. I don’t always agree with everyone who is claiming to be antifa, but I certainly agree with the idea of not being for fascism. I’m also not for communism aka full out socialism. I actually believe that capitalism solves many of our problems. Because if you don’t like something and enough people, don’t like that thing, then it will not make money, and it will not succeed in this country. It's so aggravating to hear judges say "do you want to be held in contempt?" Particularly since 99 times out of a hundred, the threat proves hollow. If the person does something worthy of contempt, hold them in contempt. If you're not going to do it, don't say it. It's the mentality that spoils children and turns society into a den of entitled chaos.
