So many landlords got screwed because of Covid. They lost their own homes because they had to upkeep rentals or they got fined. Older couples that had rentals as extra source of income to add to their Social Security. The squatters that took advantage didn't pay and use the money that they should've used to pay rent they bought cars went on vacation once restrictions got lifted. It should not have come to this before Covid there was no problem getting people evicted for nonpayment and it's still going on people owing $15,000-$20,000. It's absolutely disgusting.

A coworker of mine had a rental property in New York State. The rent hadn't shown up, so he went to the door to collect. A woman he'd never seen before answered the door. "Who are you?" he asked. "I live here." "No you don't." 'Yes I do! Who the hell are you?" "I'm the landlord." "No, you arent'!" Turns out the former tenant had moved to Florida, illegally sublet the house to her, collected rent from her, pocketed it, and never sent it to my coworker the landord. So there was no legal relationship between my coworker and this woman. So, when she refused to pay rent, he filed for eviction. The judge REFUSED TO EVICT HER. His excuse? "But, she has nowhere else to go!" So, my coworker sold the house with her still in it, and is out of the landlord business for good.

Electro hypersensitivity isn’t really real. The supposed sufferers do appear to present with some symptoms of something. But they could be caused by a myriad of things. It’s just as likely psychological, some sort of conspiracy linked hypochondria. She is taking advantage of the property owner. This is a perfect example of why you shouldn’t let anyone move in with you Edit - Ok I just heard the last part where she claims to have radiation poisoning and says the courthouse will “literally fry her” and she’ll be “unable to move.” That’s just 100% BS and absolutely not a thing. Idk if she believes what she’s saying or not. But it simply isn’t true
@kristyandcowreact11 ай бұрын
Not true. There are people who do actually have that condition. # is small and not all who claim it, have it. But I've seen video of a woman getting like a sunburn on her from exposure to a computer that had wifi. I'm not saying everyone who claims that have it, actually have it, but I do think it exists. I have been dealing with health issues for the last 18yrs. I went from thriving and mostly healthy to in horrible chronic pain and struggling to walk. Tests came back normal, all except physical exams (reflexes etc), and my body would relapse and improve a bit over and over. I was told a few times by doctors that they gave up. I had a few insinuate it was psychological, and one who out right said it. I kept pushing on, trying to live trying to work, but my body keeps just messing with me. I finally met doctors in the last 2yrs who believed me. I have chronic migraines, POTS, and they believe I have Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome and possibly a Mast Cell disorder. I'd never even heard of those things in 2005. My point is, that a lot of times, when medication doesn't understand something or it's not falling into a neat box, they assume it's psychological or faked completely for attention. I've learned from some good people over the years (including doctors and PTs) that sometimes it takes a while for medacine to catch up. But eventually they will. So. Just saying.

@@kristyandcowreact I'm reading the WHO's guidance on EMF hypersensitivity. SYMPTONS are real. People really are getting rashes from... something. There is ZERO scientific causal evidence that any of these symptoms are actually caused by EMF exposure. Medical guidance on this involves examining the individual's home and work environments for other hazards that could be causing the rashes, psychological evaluations, and other tests to look for other causes. The hard truth you need to understand is that your illness is caused by something other than low level electromagnetic waves. By focusing on a perceived, incorrect culprit, you may be making things worse for yourself.

The judge will most likely give the tenant 30 days to move and when she doesn’t (she won’t) the landlord will have to go back to court and the judge will order the sheriff to evict. That’s an additional 90 days. Next time, lead with an attorney, don’t represent yourself and don’t wait.

As a landlord, I would be very upset. What a waste of time. The landlord wants her property now so she can prepare it and get a paying renter in there. I have to assume she may have had to borrow on all her resources to pay the mortgage on the property. She will never see a dime from this woman. Very sad.

I looked up for a moment when I heard her say that she had been before the judge before to establish the extent of her disability and the comment popped up that she had established nothing other than telling the judge her problems. It is entirely possible that she has had prior dealings in front of judge Simpson relating to her disability claims. Whether he should be expected to remember her or not is another matter. As a disabled person myself, I always hate it when other disabled people try to use their disability as an excuse to not pay rent or to not do something that every adult should be expected to do. I managed to find a house to live in in 45 days in California’s tight rental market, with my physical disabilities, with my financial handicaps including filing bankruptcy, losing a house to foreclosure during a divorce after I was almost killed in a car accident. I did it myself. No state agencies helped me, no family helped me, I did it on my own. My landlord gave me a gift by allowing me to move in and I have repaid her by paying my rent. Sometimes you just gotta suck it up.

They are allergic to every medication and will come up with every reason why they can’t follow doctors’ orders to help them get better. I started calling them “Judy” instead of Karen. They’re pathologically needy but will resist all attempts to resolve their problems Ultimately, their whole identity is wrapped up in their “affliction” and need for sympathy.

I know my judge absolutely did when I finally put my big girl panties on &; turned myself in on my warrant. &; because I was finally adulting and working a job I needed a degree for &; stopped being a degenerate junkie.. they let go. I was prepared to be help in custody, though. I had to return to court two days later with a letter from my drug treatment counselor and a recent urine drug screen and also I had to produce a letter from my boss with my most recent pay stub. As well as my recent lupus diagnosis and a note from the doctor who was treating my hep c. Because the two month hep c regimen can not be interrupted, even for a day, or it won’t take and will be an immense waste. &; there’s only nine shot at curing it with this medication.. and it was very important because of my lupus that I cure my hep c. If all paperwork was not produced.. I would’ve been taken in. I ended up getting injured at my job.. and have to have surgery to go back to work. I still had 2 months of jail to finish on my jail sentence, even though I’ve served 6 already since first acquiring this charge when I was 22, which was 11 years ago. So, I had to submit a letter from my workers comp surgeon and my ct scan.. and because of that they gave me time served with the 183 days I’ve previously served in jail. Btw.. my charge…was for one Xanax when I was 22, which was almost 12 years ago.. and I stole literally ONE yogurt. I did 183 days in jail and if it have not been for all of the paperwork I had to back up the positive things I’ve done to turn my life around.. I was allowed to stay out of jail until sentencing.. if it weren’t for getting injured at work and showing proof.. I’d be serving the remaining two months.. of my 8 month sentence right now.. instead of writing this comment. That.. was my charge….. I’m about to be 34 years old.
