Great job getting that post repaired and the gate having having a home to latch on to! Really glad the weather was pleasant too during the job because usually these types of repair always seem to put up a good fight! Have always appreciated how your animals all enjoy your company and you reciprocate by giving them your time and affection while asking them if they are doing alright! Thy truly are living their best life on your Farm! I had to laugh @ 8:54 when the guys were rough housing as it reminded me of my Mom telling me and my three brothers to "Take That Horse Play Outside" LOLOL The blessing about Animals is Job Security in keeping up with the "cleaning"! @johngreaney45117 сағат бұрын
Hi Karen if the stones are as plentiful as you are saying you could have hired a guy with a stone picker to pick them up but you have to do that job before you seed the field … so what you can do now is pick where there are very plentiful and it is no harm to leave the small stones after you and roll them into the ground because they keep the ground warm (keep up the good work)
@karenmoynihanfarm17 сағат бұрын
Yes I'm regretting not getting in a stone picker. it just honestly didn't look very stony at the time because the ground was so dry it all looked the same but as soon as the rain came it washed the dust off the stones and showed them all up

Hi Karen, Are you having any issues with the cattle that are in with all of this mild weather that we are having? Did you roll the fields after they were reseeded?
@karenmoynihanfarm17 сағат бұрын
No issues thankfully. we're keeping all the doors open to create a draft. Yes fields were rolled after seeding
@michaelcoriordan16 сағат бұрын
Very good. I haven't housed yet. I didn't want to chance it with the weather. I'm feeding outside, which is a bit of a dose 😢. The end of next week is looking cooler, hopefully. I will house them then. Once you have rolled the fields, I wouldn't get too hung up about the stones. Once the grass seeds start to thicken, they'll be fine.
