We had oyster stew on Christmas Eve also. My Mom was a Rosie the Riveter in WW2 in California. A friend she worked with back then would send her the oysters every year to our Mn farm. Mom would thankfully make hamburger hot dish for us who didn’t like stew.😁 🎄 Love your podcasts. Great trip down memory lane. 💖

I just love that you're doing this with your son and grandson. This is what traditions are made of. What an impact this must have on your grandson!

I love how much you share your lives with us and I too have shed a tear more than once. I get you Tim. And I haven't been able to watch your pod casts until this one. I was able to start watching you as this went Live, but then had to leave. I came back to finish watching and I'd like to rectify who the guest is and say hello to Hank's dad as well. Im sure I'll hear your name when I start listening to the previous ones. Thank you to all four of you for sharing your stories and everyone else for sharing as well. Bless you all. ❤ Heidi from Down Under, Australia ❤

Wow this was a meaningful one TFS pray I live long like you and Tim may you have a blessed Christmas with you and your family. I pray and love that you and Tim do this you two have inspired me so many times. Wish I was health so I could be in Stampin up but as someone who suffers from health and disability wish i could have met you in real life . Love and Aloha from Hawaii . I tried to stay in Stampin up but my Disabilty don’t let me work after covid they say no can. But I don’t make enough to pay rent utilities and cleaning things. But at least least I have Jesus and I am alive and can watch good people like you and Tim ❤ you night .

Catching replay. Was on the road to spend Christmas with family. Tim I can relate about the way you feel about oysters. I am SD . I had to learn to fix oysters shuck them , as well as shrimp, clams and other fresh seafood. I have learned to like seafood now. I have enjoyed your casts. And your stories. Have a wonderful time with family. Merry Christmas

Enjoying another episode. I think you need find some pfeffernusse cookies and divnity candy to share with Hank and his dad. My mom would make sweet cookie like dough rolled out with a date nut filling then roll and cut (datenut pinwheel cookies). She store them in a large roaster in the front hall closet as it always cool. Great memories.

We got the Chef Boy R Dee pizza and put slices of hotdog and velveta cheese on it. We didn't know better. I didn't have "real" pizza until I was driving and friends introduced me to Pizza Hut

I love your story - I can't imagine hotdogs and velveeta cheese on it! Pizza Hut was my first real pizza too!
