The Karenza or Carenza is a style of shadowboxing with a weapon traditional in many Filipino martial arts systems. We use it as a form of meditation and movement.
It’s through the exploration of movement that we find fluidity, Positioning, range, elevation, rhythm and timing.

Beautiful video. I like that you distinguish karenza as a way to break your patterns. I think often people do there abecedarios as Karenza… and I don’t think it’s the same though I value the patterns learned for the sake of gaining progress.
