When you see Benzema playing you can tell he's breathing football, everything he does on the pitch is special, and for those who are shocked by his recent performances they forgot that this guy was the best player in Ligue 1 at the age of 20 in 2008, 2nd all-time top scorer and most assists for Real Madrid, 4th top scorer in the CL knowing that the guy never shot a penalty in the competition before last year, 8th all-time most assists in CL and only needs 3 to get in the top 5, most CL won in history, 3rd most goals scored in a single CL campaign with 15 just behind Ronaldo's 16 an 17, most decorated frenchman and most goals scored by a frenchman in history, and the funniest part, numbers don't even tell half the story of how good this guy is. We grew up in the same hood and everyone at the time knew how good he was and how great he'll become, he's a generational talent and people will realise it the day he'll retire.

Not True. He was a promising young talent but he had difficult debuts with Madrid. Then he became a Cr7 lieutenant and a part of bbc. He was good but not great. But he discipline d himself, work hard, and when Cr7 left Madrid it was his time to shine . I am a Barcelona fan, but Benzema has been one of the most consistent players for Real Madrid and La Liga for years. This was the milestone he reached, but he has had some great seasons. Has scored an incredible amount of goals and is a very good player in the buildup too. I'd say he was overshadowed by Ronaldo in Madrid, I mean you can't compete with the prime version of that.
