Karizma ZMR Vs Bajaj Pulsar 220

I have ridden a fuel injected bike and a carburetted bike and I have found a lot of difference between the two....fuel injection ROCKS! The response is excellent and the engine revs very, very, cleanly. This is a strong selling point for the ZMR. BUT since it is way heavier than the previous model, and slower,..... why waste your money on this! Get an older model and spend that saved money on some tuning!!

karizma can beat the p220 on mountain roads........i have a p220 and a zma r .......acquianted with the both bike handling...zma works better on mountain roads.......

Both ZMR and 220 are gud....but ZMR white color luks ugly to the core...nothing compared to the black one which looks like a beast....

220,s steering is smooth even at low speed, its wheel base is so strong that u can ride without any fear of skid, even on wet roads.

For the whooping price tag of the zmr and no raqdiator, it's better to go for the p220 although zmr is better looking. Bajaj should have made more cosmetic changes to the p220 like a fullfairing!

the thing i dont like the most in karizma..is the thin rear tyre which comparitively looks like a bicycle tyre....p220 is more relaible.....karizma zmr has worked on the looks a lot....but still..i dont think its that impressive......better go for a p220 or r15

but there one FUNNY THING in herohonda if u guys noticed,none of its bike have a tyre above 100*90 size and never gave a open chain case in any of the bikes,this clearly indicates herohonda has no racing intentions on its bikes[always mileage,handling maintenance are major concerns for HH] ,karizma was made a tourer and always be a tourer and will be anything else,well then pulsar's speaks for itself even smallest pulsar [pulsar 135] has a 100*90 rear tyre and a open chain case :D

ohhh...Finally a excellent review on these 2 bikes.......hav heard a lot criticism bout the ZMR but nw its all clear...... Go for P220......Without hesitation.... It's engine is better.. Weighs less Torque is better Top speed is better....and finally. 23K cheaper dan Karizma ZMR......HH sucks........

people who say its not about the bhp have got it all wrong!! its not about the cc but ALWAYS about the bhp and the gear ratios..zmr is a load of plastic on an underpowered bike..pulsar is all engine an no stupid plastic for display sake..the tyre on pulsar looks awsm .. and the tyre on the karizma*cough*... if u want the easiest riding bike buy a splendour..pulsar is for the hardcore racer..atleast in india...plz explain if im wrong...c'mon!

220 Pulsar is a 220 Pulsar it is not a machine its a beast which all the 220 Pulsar rides on. So, think 1000 times whenever you ZMR & R15 guys say something to the 220 riders we are riding a beast which has no limit. Note-- My Pulsar 220 has given without locking the thortle in 3rd gear i.e. is 110Km/ph if i had repaead more what 3digit no the beast would had given. Think of it.

i seriously want to rest ride the zmr, i dont really get the point that with such ordinary power(equivalent to a 180cc bike and 3hp lesser than the pulsar 220)and laughably skinny tyres, and an irrelevant full-fairing despite the fact that its fully air-cooled....and doesnt even have an oil-cooler...

Hero honda karizma is going to end up like the Bullet. 50 years from now they are still goin to have the same engine same suspension, drivetrain. But new stickers and body panels. The only difference is after 50years the bull will be still cooler than the zma. .... And the p220 is 2 sec quicker to 100 than zma... no surprises there... Hero honda need to seriously employ ppl in the R&D department and give the guys at the sticker department a rest....even the sound of the zma is like a mixie...

whats better in it than the pulsar 220...that makes it so much costlier.....i understand the pgmfi part.but then it definitely doesn't help the bike's feel to much an extent.iam sorry but hero honda isn't such great a company to claim such great premium over the competition...the pulsars had always been nice-feeling hassle-free...and built to last bikes...

Pulsar sounded like it was crying right at the start. The reporter was sitting awkwardly even on a Brand New pulsar. Give it six months and its shit. Handling matters alot in racing or even in normal cruising, ask any real racer. Just coz u have SLIGHTLY more power doesn't make it a better bike. Reliability counts. You could never overtake between two trucks on a Pulsar, its just highly unstable.

@iirus7 its not giving an opinion (verdict) for a rating show, but rather what YOU are giving is a biased statement. These guys are professionals, they do this for a living. You probably bought a karizma and feel really crappy about it, and feel that you have to defend yourself & HH now. The Pulsars have always made better built bikes than HH, now that Honda has kicked Hero, they have no choice but to make minor aditions like Fi and re-release a bike. They should go back to making MOPEDS!!

Well to all those blukes who have purchased such a bad wanna be.....who have purchased ZMR....dude u need to get ur basic rides...a sports bike means raw power it means bhp it means tourqe and finally the top speed and the accleration...zmr has nothing even a pulsar 180 wuld beat it its got better power to weight ratio then zmr does...and all u ladies better watch out for the king of indian made bikes and that throne belongs to 220 pular till there is some bike else with more power..:)
