I love this documentary. I have some 2012 ballet flats designed by Lagerfeld and I look at them every night before I go to bed. ❤

It's so interesting to see the juxtaposition of this review and some critiques of his popart lines. As a designer who was known to draw from art canvases to reinvigorate established couture, expanding into a youthful sport line is refreshing and showed he did not take himself too seriously (perhaps an ode to his H&M line, even with distinctively different energies). Karl's work always spoke for itself, his legacy will continue to do so in every "couture-neuveau" thenceforth.

He moved to Paris at 19, not 14. Please correct your speech lady: 1952-1933=19 😅

Such an informative documentary! I might want to rewatch it. I appreciate not repeating the same facts as any other documentary about Karl, and shedding some new lights.
