That’s it then. I’ve just got through every single XFM show and every single podcast and I believe this is the last one. Took me 4 months roughly. I did hear some of it 20 years ago but this was my first proper re listen to everything. I have to conclude that all of this content (the xfm shows and the podcasts) are without question the most entertaining and funny form of media I have ever experienced in my 41 years on earth! I can see why people go back to beginning and listen over and over again now 😂 Anyway nobody might read this but I had to get that off my chest. Pure comedy gold / entertainment.

If you listen to these podcasts as many times as I do then you can pick up on the foundations of Ricky's projects that he went on to do afterwards. You can literally hear his brain ticking over as he gathers inspiration and notes from these shows. And then turns them into award winning programs. Boy genius springs to mind! 🙏🏻👍🏻👊🏻💪🏻

7:17 I noticed this just now: whenever Ricky questions him further, Karl's tone changes from explanatory to slight anger. Karl often took that personally, but Ricky wasn't trying to make him look stupid, he just didn't understand what he was saying. This is why the podcast worked so well, plus Stephen often wouldn't so much question Karl, but would mediate the situation.
