I'm a massive fan of "The Ricky Gervais Show" and "An Idiot Abroad," and think Karl, Steve and Ricky are hilarious, but I must say, I find it very sweet that this interviewer is so kind to Karl. In all interviews I've seen with Karl, it seems as though the interviewers don't care what he has to say, and treat him like "If Ricky Gervais laughs at this guy, then I will laugh at him too." Richard Bacon seems genuinely interested in what Karl has to say. All this to say, it's very sweet.

sooo many people comment on here about richard bacon picking holes into karl; he's know him for years, even before he was famous. karl knows that these picks are nothing personal, just banter between two friends

I think Ricky is right... although Karl has said some of the most idiotic things, there is some hint of genius in there. Everybody gives him slack about his sometimes twaddle talk but majority of us gaze at him in fascination... it makes me wonder, maybe we are the stupid ones and we are amazed with his outlook of life.

In regards to the woman talking about restless legs being due to tiredness I'm not so sure. Someone I know has it really bad and it isn't just a "leg twitch" it can be agonising and feel like someone is excessively tickling or scratching the inside of your leg and you can't get rid of it. It can last for seconds, minutes, hours, sometimes the whole night. That isn't a twitch its bloody horrendous.

@macarthur19 I think the "Canada" comment could have been said about any country. Its just the comedy of people saying small things like "mona lisa" "niagra falls", and then a huge country. The contrast is the joke. It would work just as well if someone said "Australia".
