It's fair to say channel 9 can't replace Karl. Respected Journo. Ratings drop on tv shows these days because of social media, netflix, stan, KZbin, video games etc..as more and more peoples of all walks of life spend more time on their phones than sitting in front of their tv screens..

Karl. Today show was the only morning news show I looked forward to watching every morning for sooooo long, and when you left the show I stopped watching. It wasn't the same without you. They can change around anyone else but You. You're the anchor of the Today show and without you it's dead and boring. The producers realized that, and thank goodness they brought you back, as now I'm back to switching you on first thing in the morning😂😂😂. You are the person everyone needs to lift their spirits with a good laugh to start the day. It's the reason why people around the world wish their morning news shows were like the Today Show. I really wish you can come back to the "Today" show. That show will never be the same without you. People all over the world, including me who is from the States, love "Today" mainly because of you. I introduced the "Today" show to my Mother when you were on, and showed her all the best clips that were on KZbin. Besides the other cast members, such as Lisa and Georgie, she absolutely fell in love with you. She loved it when you laughed, and she especially loved it when all the accidental innuendos were happening. That mainly happened when you were on. It was unintentional, but it just happened. Watching "Today" when you were co-hosting definitely got her through some hard times, and "Today" was always an escape for me, too. Anyways, I know you have new ventures, and I can't be too selfish, so I just have to say good luck. However, I do know that if that piece of shit cabdriver didn't record the conversation you and your co-workers were having, I would not be surprised that you would still be on that show. Anyways, regardless of the unfortunate outcome, you will always be awesome to me. :))) In the meantime, I was imagining you on "The Howard Stern Show" and how great that interview might be if it happened. Hopefully Howard Stern would someday consider interviewing you, and I hope you would consider it if it was offered. I imagine you on his show sitting on the couch being interviewed by him and Robin.
