Her first album "Karla Bonoff" is a classic & many songs are acoustic guitar. She also plays the piano. I fashioned my own songwriting in her style with less is more & great harmony singing on some (some of the same guys that played with Linda Ronstadt in the 70's. Karla started out writing songs for others & doing background vocals than she did her 1st self-titled album). Amazon has got an even better deal with that album & 2 other albums (Restless Nights-Wild Heart of the Young) where you'll find "The Water is Wide" song. All 3 for only $16.99.
