Dear Karla, your first album got me through college in Ithaca NY and you sound better than ever. I had the pleasure of recording Aaron Neville’s book on tape last year and we talked about your wonderful song, ALL MY LIFE and which he and Linda Ronstadt covered. Every country pop diva working today needs to hit their knees nightly to whatever they hit their knees to and give thanks for Karla Bonoff. She's is the OG as far as their sound is concerned. She got there before even Bonnie Raitt and Linda Ronstadt. Wrote a lot of their songs, too. Woman just rips out my still-beating heart, shows it to me, and shoves it in my shirt pocket.
