The sound of her voice with control and changes in quality, the heart-wrenching lyrics, the power of her piano playing, and the acoustics of this room just blow me away!

My favorite soap opera, Another World, featured this in a 1997 episode. I was stunned. I have loved Karla ever since. Her voice is just beautiful.

Like it but at the moment it is sounding too much like the melody of the Barry Manilow song I can't laugh without you. Cannot for the life of me unhear that melodic kinship and so far ruining it for me even though the resemblance really is pretty flimsy.

I thought this was sung by Linda Ronstadt because it really sounds like her.

I saw Karla open up for James Taylor at Blossom Music Center in Cuyahoga Falls Ohio. I left after she was done. I only went to see her. Since then I have seen her 2x at the Kent Stage. I was like a little kid when I got her autograph after one of the shows. Thanks for sharing your unique voice.

Karla... you still sing like an angel... I fell in love with her music after I found out that she wore several songs for Linda Ronstadt for her "Hasten Down the Wind" album... bought her first 2 albums and fell immediately in love with her music... he voice is fragile at times, yet so hitherto! Thank you for many nights of headphone listening at bedtime...I love this version!

Every time I come across this video Karla, I can't keep going with my nightly ritual. I see these 2 video's, this one and "Please Be the One" and listen to both. I'm on The Thrasher's House list and receive who's going to be performing and I saw you and was overjoyed and got my tickets right away and a night's stay on Green Lake, WI. I've been wanting to see you and hear you for decades and now I'm going to get to see you in May of 2025. I can't wait. Your music just captivates me! I know I won't be disappointed.
