Postpartum care for c-section: - [ ] Movicol for constipation - [ ] Maternity dresses/loose dresses - [ ] Dressing gown (I lived in this during labour) - [ ] High wasted underwear that go up to your tummy - [ ] Antibacterial wipes/body wipes - [ ] Disposable underwear (from Amazon) - [ ] Maternity pads about 10 packs of them and regular pads maybe like 2 packs and liners maybe about 1/2 packs for after birth you should bulk up on these This is what I used for my emergency c-section and what helped me.

please pack more briefs with you.. them things are life savers.. I would bring like 5 just in case and bring your own fluffy blanket because youll get cold and shakey. Plus its just more comfort when its your blanket. After you give birth and you get in your room where youll stay for a couple days ask for the water heating pad that thing is amazing!

Another tip, take an empty small water bottle to wash up since hospitals don't have bidets but they will also give you a peri bottle if you have a vag delivery

Bring shower shoes and just so you’re aware, I had my baby at WRH and they don’t have baby wipes anymore. They just use cloths and wet them. ( not a big deal but in case you wanted to bring some) 😊

get preperatipon H wipes, and tucks pads. I put a maxi pad, then a frida icepad, then tucks witch hazel pads. And always wiped with preperation h wipes. Never got a hemrroid. And highly recommend getting depends, so much easier to deal with. Safe birth wishes, so excited for your family 💕

Make sure to pack extra baggy clothes incase of a c section! I made that mistake & ended up having to cut my joggers just so they could fit & I could leave the hospital 🤣 I needed clothes probably 2 or maybe even 3x bigger than my actual size as my body was pretty swollen afterwards.

Don’t forget clothes! when I delivered my daughter I wanted my own clothes for after. I brought a night gown that had buttons for easy BF and then I brought comfy clothes like sweats and BRING FLIP FLOPS incase you want to shower! I wish I brought some sort of face wipe bc I didn’t bring my skincare routine and I felt so gross and sweaty lol

Congratulations praying everything goes smoothly for you and baby girl. I just wanted to touch base on the nipple shields. I definitely recommend doing a little bit of research on them. They are made for inverted nipples and can cause more issues down the line if you don’t need them or tend to use them long-term. if you do have Inver and nipples I definitely recommend trying to feed without them first so they don’t rely on the shield. I just want the best for your breast-feeding journey.!

I would get an actual nip measure thing and measure that way. Most people are about a 16-17 with the 4mm added. The flanges and stuff pumps usually come with are typically wayyy to big for most people!

I am an emergency c section mama and the hospital I was at did provide me with a Belly Binder only when I requested one though. They don’t offer you gotta ask for it. But belly binder was the absolute most important thing for me along with Always Discreet disposable adult diapers. Those big pads were the most ANNOYING thing ever, diapers all the way lol.

Most hospital use Pampers or Huggies brand. Pampers Swaddle are my favorite. Then down the road I go cheaper.

If you have a c-section make sure to get up and move cause that will help you faster.

Ive had 2-sections myself. Make sure you have help to for the first week or so depending on how you feel. Take the high dose medicine they give. Trsut me girl it will save you in the long run. Tylenol to keep in you constantly for the first week. Stool softers take for the firt month because you will be constipatied. Use a pillow to sneeze, cough laugh it will hurt so bad
