I gained 40-50 lbs during Covid lockdowns. I’d been thin my whole life. Going from 1250-130lbs up to 179 at my highest, left me feeling like a failure. I joined Noom & lost 19 lbs. Around Thanksgiving, I stopped losing weight. I’d go up & down in a 3lb range. It was discouraging. I decided to try something different. I just received my semaglutide yesterday in the mail. I’m also adding a peptide to it to help with weight loss & aging. I’m excited to start. I’m nervous about side effects. Binge watching your videos today has helped ease my concerns a lot. I just ordered mine. I'm in menopause and currently on hormone therapy. Obviously my metabolism isn't the best. Anyone here in my shoes? I'm 57 almost 58. Heartburn is a very common side effect because it delays stomach emptying, so going to bed with food in your stomach makes it more likely you’ll get reflux when lying down.

I get REALLY bad heartburn on it. But it’s so worth it! I went from 167 to 129! Wowee!

I’ve heard a few people say this!! I had the WORST heartburn while pregnant so I’m surprised I didn’t experience it while on the med. so happy for you! I’ve heard some people just pop tums haha

Everyone needs to start using mg instead of units so we can properly compare doses LOL. Units are volume only (1 unit = .01mL) so it's based on the compounded medication strength per mL, but mg is the actual dosage. There's some math involved if they don't tell you how many mg are in a unit, but I'm weird and I like math. LOL. I'm so sad to have missed this live stream! I just took my 7th shot. I only felt sick twice when I overate over the holidays, but the heart burn is REAL. I experienced heart burn before the meds though, it's just more intense now if I eat dinner too late. Lost 15 lbs in the first 3 weeks, but now I'm sitting at 10 lbs down (wth why???? *panic ensues*). I'm trusting the process though and taking so much inspiration from people like you who are open and sharing their experience. Thank you so much!

I know the mg thing is hard cause people just go straight into units so that’s how I have to talk about it and I always say my med concentration to not be confusing haha 😂 but I agree lol Yes!!! Trust the process you got this just don’t sit and focus on it to much and let it do its thing! :)

I heard a doctor say if it makes you feel sick he actually prescribed to do half dosage one day and half your dosage another day during the week to split it up. Have you ever tried that?

I took my first shot last Wednesday, 2/28. 24 hours later I felt like there was a balloon in my stomach and my throat. I can tell something was in my body. Has anyone experienced this feeling? Also my cravings are less but I still get hungry with my eyes 🤦🏻‍♀️. When do you bump up from .1? My doctor said around week 3 but the pharmacist said 4 weeks. Thoughts? I’m on Semaglutide just to be clear.

I have a Doctor appointment next week for the semi glue tide. I tried every single diet after I had my daughter. I was super thin still worked out my whole pregnancy. And then now I'm trying to. I've been trying to lose weight. Nothing's working. I was on different medications that put weight on me. And it's just not coming off. I lost 14 pounds, but then all of it almost came back without a change in diet.

Hii, thank you for keeping us informed! I had some question’s, have you heard about these other side effects when taking? I’m considering in trying this out but was concerned about the potential thyroid cancer and once you stop taking it, there would be rapid weight gain? Can you ever get off of it is this something you have to take for life? I’ve always been pretty small but getting older and Covid really changed for me and I started gaining weight. I just started semiglutide last month I haven't had much as far as side effects mainly just extreme fatigue. I haven't seen much difference on the scale but I am seeing changes in my face legs and belly just minor changes and my blood glucose has been a lot better. I am super worried about muscle loss, did you have a muscle loss issue and or do you have any tips on how to not have muscle loss.

Hi! I’m waiting to receive my semagultide and sermoreline from Ivim. I cannot wait! My question is…I love to have a cocktail here and there and I’m wondering if this medication will affect me. Have u had an alcohol beverage on semagultide? NYE 2024 2oz glass of champagne and 4oz mixed drink took me all the way out! Coming out of both ends I have not drank since. I had that with icecream once when I 1st started as well. These are the only 2 times in 5 months. Ive had icecream like 2 spoons but a bowl i will never😂 but those are the 2 things i sweared off. How is it going with you

So I started with .25 mg on semaglutide. I’m going on my 4th week this Monday and will up the dosage to 0.5 mg. I have only lost 4 lbs it doesn’t really suppress my appetite hopefully it will when I go higher on the dosage. Just curious, how many mg is 20 units?

Mg depends on your med! Whether it’s 5/1 or 2.5/1! Check your prescription label it will tell you!

Hi! I’m starting my shots in a couple days. My doctor prescribed me Wegovy but it’s no where to be found. She switched me to a Semiglutide compound. All I have read says it’s healthy and works the same. I’m really praying it does. It’s a fraction of the cost. I’m also surprised there is a shortage due to the cost. Currently doing keto to prepare. Keeping carbs low and protein high also logging macros. I hike a lot doing 10,000-15,000 steps 3 to 4 days a week plus minimal strength training. So I’m super anxious to get my 40 pounds off. Anyone taking the compound? Please reply🙏

I felt weak, excessively tired, like ridiculously tired. Do you feel that it’s possibly from because of not eating that my blood sugar actually went down too far as what I’m thinking ended up being dizzy and tired. I almost feel because I didn’t care about eating. I think I just wasn’t eating enough. What’s your thoughts?

I usually ate a salad with meat for lunch and focused on the meat and I hardly ever ate much for dinner. Usually a few bites of something if I was feeling up for it. And if I knew I was going out, I’d prep myself that day because if I overate at dinner I’d get sick
