She made the name for herself, she's had this catwalk since she started modelling because of ballet. It hasn't really changed since it's a signtaure. She just learned how to 'tame' her walk in the succeeding seasons. Like a wild panther that's tamed and made into a pet, but don't buy that because if it gets very hungry, it'll go back being wild. Same with Karlie, if designers tell her to do her freestyle, she'd be doing this MORE aggressive version of her walk.

Stop with your bickering,truce. Each model has their own signature walk. Gisele the sexy back, Naomi the leggy cat diva. If we laid it on the table, karlie is only 21! She is already a star, plus distinctly unique! She is very elegant,graceful. She is very dedicated and not afraid toi explore different styles. A lot of models r booked and they just stay flat because they r famous in the show, they are set! Karlie tries to work each outfit, and her hat , that is what I feel for she has that extra bit more! Sunshine Nguyen she did not approach VS, it was the other way around. I remember she was in her prime at the time like literally opening and closing every show from New York fashion week to Paris and reigned as the Queen of Haute couture. VS probably saw this rising star with otherworldly walk and they booked her (even giving her THREE outfits on her first show with ONE wings and closing TWO segments including the finale). Perhaps it was a challenge for her as a model to change attitude on the catwalk and being in VS just shows so much of her versatility and proves that she can be a serious and sassy High fashion model and a fun, sexy and entertaining VS model. That's why she's been dubbed as the 'return of the supermodel'.

I personally think she's shifting her priorities now. She's no longer in the haute couture scene and more on editorial & commercial shoots, as well as her own ventures (kookies, college, kode with karlie, KZbin channel, etc). If I were to stretch out my conjecture even more, the occasional shoots & runway are what keep her (name) in the fashion industry, so it'll be easier to get support for her own projects that she can control. I suppose high fashion is tremendously restrictive, time-consuming, and energy-draining. I think it's smart that she's creating more options outside of high fashion.
