Well, there is actually a renaissance flute in there. There's also a celtic flute that sings out briefly during the last chorus. :) I love my flute sounds in medieval music, and it was a joy to weave them with Roxane's beautiful strings.

I think this is one of my top favorite song of yours and this means a lot since I love pretty much everything on your channel. I haven't played, read nor watched The Witcher but I know the main story, characters and ambience and am loving that. Dosent matter. Each witcher is unique. Some evil, some morally good, some neutral. I choose neutral. "Do as you will, harm no one, do not judge." I interpret as let people make their choices, defend yourself, don't judge them. Let them do as they please.
