Karlous gave the formula for independence and success for those that listen and take his advice. I like when a boss shares the blueprint on how to disconnect from the matrix and have your own. You are ultimately responsible for your own peace and happiness. No more waiting for handouts. He also is not selfish and spreads the love so the whole team wins.
@urbanflavorz2 жыл бұрын
But none of these people did it independently. they used other promoters, TV Shows to make it big then when they make it big say they did it themselves. Thats crazy
@rochellelove37852 жыл бұрын
@@urbanflavorz In this world, no one ever does anything alone. We have to get to a point where we're no longer dependent on another person to feed us. Growth and maturity is when we learn to feed ourselves. Yes he got help in the start, but he learned not to beg another person to mistreat him, misguide him, or not pay him for his gifts. Lessons are learned along the way and he's showing others how to avoid pitfalls he experienced.He put in the work.
@urbanflavorz2 жыл бұрын
@@rochellelove3785 so why was he so upset when he got let go from WNO? And if we need help why is he preaching do everything yourself ? Contradictory. Typical Ninja talk. A manager takes a person to the next level then they say they didn't need nobody and could have done it themselves. Why didn't you do it yourself then?
@rochellelove37852 жыл бұрын
@@urbanflavorz I think WNO gave him his wake up call and forced him to branch out on his own. He was doing comedy before WNO, but he's really recognized now for it. Be thankful for the help and come up, recognize the dos and don'ts, extend a hand to others, and keep it moving. I don't think he's saying he never needed help. I think he's saying he learned how to get to the point of self sufficiency (independence).
@urbanflavorz2 жыл бұрын
@@rochellelove3785 yeah thats true but in the interview he is trying to tell other upcoming comedians you don't need promoters you can do it yourself. He didn't do it himself so how can he tell others to do it themselves. Thats like Don King taking an unknown boxer from obscurity to the heavyweight title and then the boxer says just do it on your own, you don't need a promoter. Stop fakin
