New Zealand BBQ is WAAAAAY better than that in the video, those Arab countries have skinny tough mutton, New Zealand has the best in the world Juicy Lamb instead of mutton...also there is more meat on our baby lamb than they have on their adult sheep....go figure. "Bas bas kya hota hai" - that is such a classic Indian subcontinent thing to say. It is the "khatirdari" aka genuinely trying to please your guest. Loved how your friend hand picked pieces of the meat that he thought would taste the best and loaded up your plate with it. You could have eaten similar or even better BBQed meat in NZ but i bet nobody would have hand picked the extra special pieces and put it in your plate so you could have the best time possible. Hats off to you and especially to the person who was guiding or translating this to you.

@Hassan Indian Subcontinent is a globally recognised name for the geographical landmass consisting of India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Afghanistan. What superiority complex are you talking about? Two continents are named as America. Does that mean citizens of United States of America feel superior about themselves?? Hell No. It's just a name. That's it. The entire ocean is named Indian Ocean. Does that make people of small island nations of Sri Lanka and Maldives feel inferior?? Hell no. Or Should we start calling it too South Asian ocean or something??

@home multiplex India is derived from Indus, you can find the youtube video as well on it, which is in Pakistan, therefore the Land the Subcontinent was known as was Hind also dervied from Indus. So in effect all Subcontinent is known as Indus (Pakistan). So here is the more technical details. Enjoy. For both Pakistani and Indians.
@appleoranges97722 жыл бұрын
@@hasnainhaider8914 not really the word Indian is not drive from Indus. It is recently given name to this region by the the European Masters who invaded the land not too long ago so this name Indian or India. Till the time of mughal the same land was known as Hindustan and before that Hind or further go back Bharat , Gandhara etc but this region never had the Name INDIA. Historically the word "Indian" was a derogative term used by the european masters for the locals. The same name was given to the locals when they europen invaded American continent. It is not an organic name of the land but imposed and later generation has taken as is from their masters. Substitute for JUNGLI, UNCIVILIZED... ETC

Karl, Shinwari is a Pushtun tribe that lives on both sides of the Durand Line. Pakistan bowler Usman Shinwari is from the same tribe. This food is a tradition of Afghanistan as well as the Pakistani areas bordering Afghanistan. If you go to Balochistan, you'll find similar food there, Balochis are also very good with mutton and have their own unique food traditions, again with less oil and masala. Baloch are also divided among Iran, Afghanistan and Pakistan so you'll get a mix of all.
