Why would they have Islamic architecture with motifs from other religions like so many places in the world that mimic the culture of the Quran? ie to spread peace and love. The same thing literally happens everywhere in the world. Go to Morocco and you’ll see Jewish and Christian motifs. Even the crescent moon is a Roman motif. It’s funny how people take the European colonised narrative without questioning it. I’m sure there’s plenty of temples around the area, but those are clearly masajid with honorary nods to previous generations.

The Ghizer Valley and Hunza valley in Gilgit-Baltistan are connected to Tajikistan via the Wah Khan border. So it is quite clear that central Asian cultural influence is quite evident there. Many Friends from India confusing Turks with Turkish. Turks mainly belong to Central Asia,( recent Tajikistan, Uzbekistan Etc), from where some tribes traveled to Antioch in search of water and grassy fields and later became Turkish. The guide refers to central Asian architecture and roots going back to the Zoroastrians, not the Hindus.
