My biggest question is: which IRA can I use to offset the FICA tax if any. I work for myself. I don’t have a job. My AGI is low. I don’t have kids. I live off of what I make and have very few business write offs because I don’t make enough. Yes, make money money people say. I’m TRYING but right I’m stuck between a rock and a wall between taxes and the cost of living. FICA is killing me. Does putting into an IRA alleviate FICA or just the regular tax?

It does not alleviate FICA because FICA is added back in page 2 of your 1040. FICA taxes are based on net profits of your business or W-2 income
