I love these testimonies so much, they remind me of my own. I was so lost and broken, marriage falling apart, looking for something but not knowing what. Then crying out in desperation to the God I had just started to learn the truth about through a Bible study I had started to attend. He said, now, I can work with that! My wife still rejected God after I got saved and divorced but to this day I am a follower of Yeshua Messiah. You cannot force or coerce others to believe, only God can do the saving. If they are hungry for truth, He will.

I have been a certified substance use disorder counselor for over 40 years, and this is one of the most heart-warming interviews I have seen in a long while. One of the things that prompted my retirement was the movement within the helping professions away from faith and towards humanistic psychology and "self-help". The dialogue about the faith origins of the 12 step programs was bittersweet for me, because when I began my career, the spiritual element was emphasized strongly. The 12 step programs were lauded, and the "Higher Power" concept was fundamental. This is no longer the case in many settings. Karol's statement about the spiritual struggles of those new in recovery from whatever addiction is true. I pray for both of you in your one day at a time life in Yeshua and without those addictive substances. Shalom!

*😎🇮🇳I have been a Christian for 50 years and knew God as God. But since 10 years I see Him as Father. Relationship between father and son is unique. I began to experience many changes as I dwell in my father's presence !💐👍🙏*

Read genesis 1 to 11, Monday read genesis chapter 1, Tuesday read Psalms chapter 1, Wednesday read John chapter 1, Thursday read genesis chapter 2, Friday read Psalms chapter 2. Weekend off. Monday read John chapter 2 so on. Have a clean bible no markings or past thoughts on a topic. Read in your own language. Read one chapter a day. Write what you read in your own words for lessons learnt or encouragement. Do not live like western Christian , in time you will understand. Talk to Jesus Christ ( Yeshua) . Frist hand over yourself. By this I mean give and leave everything in God's hands. Let God work things in your life. Trust Jesus Christ 100 percentage. Nothing of my own efforts. Remember Galatians chapter 5 verse 20 onwards. God bless. In every thing God is training us and we honour God and God will honour you.

For those that don't get the story of the, Prodigal Son... It means you can keep going back to the father. It's not a one time deal..As that is what a father does. He enjoys helping those that come to him for help... Took me some time to see that. As I always seen it as coming to God for the first time..When it was far from it...

I have battled with anorexia for over 35 years and I keep crying out to God, but I am not delivered from it. I want to be well. I really resonated with Karol where I stay away from sugar and eat and drink with a lot of artificial sugar because I crave sweet things. I don't want to die with this horrid problem. I have been a Christian for many years but still can't kick this. I have been in therapy most of my life and still this insidious addiction to being is still raging.

Oh sweetie, I feel your pain. Keep crying out to God. He is sovereign no matter what it feels like He does or doesn’t do for us. That’s what I need to keep reminding myself. It’s hard to know what His plans are, but we can be sure He loves us and our pain is never waisted. It’s amazing the lessons we learn through the difficult times. I keep reminding myself that, in the scheme of the big picture (how short our time is on earth compared to what He has waiting for us in eternity) it’s not as important as it feels at this time. I pray firstly that God will heal you and set you free, but if He doesn’t heal you He will fill you with His peace and draw you closer to Him ❤

My struggle is with addiction to pills. Please keep me in prayer, I have prayed for God to take this fleshly desire from me, some days are better than others and although it is over the counter, I am still convicted because I take pills for energy and I should trust The Lord to be my everything, I shouldnt need those, and I should pick up my cross, nonetheless this is a struggle for me.😢 O' Lord, I plead the Blood of The Lamb over my body. Please deliver me of this fleshly desire! Jesus, I trust your plan for me ❤

Warm greetings from Australia 🦘 You're very wise and you speak the truth, Karol. Yes, it is about doing God's will. God knows better than us what is in our best interests. Karol ...you may also care to try hypnotherapy. A great book that I read was called, "If not dieting, then what?" by Dr Rick Kausman. Also, can I respectfully suggest, "forgiveness". Hope this helps. Karol is beautiful!

Saved from sin Sin intends to kill The wages of sin is death Death leads to hell, salvation is in part being saved from hell. The enemy comes to steal kill and destroy Saved from destruction, death, saved from being stolen Just applying some scriptural context the dilemma. Thank You for the podcast

All our problems are caused by lack of God's life ,all our problems are solved by God's life.He is our real food and our real drink. He is the living bread and the living water.Only He can satisfy our deepest hunger and thirst which we are trying to satisfy with what has become our addiction.John 6 : 63 .... the words which I speak to you are spirit and life.Matt 4 : 4 ...man does not live on bread alone but on every Word that comes from the mouth of God.
