@@davidgraham3681 It has always amazed me violins don't get dropped more often. In a lot of dancing your head and body don't move separately so I see your point on the simple holding. My comment was really just in regards to how small a clearance there is between the bow and the adjacent string,, plus just angling the bow a little wrong or bouncing it would ruin the sound. Dancing like that while playing a clean sound is something I doubt I could do if I practiced my whole life.
