Been Phuket many times. Had intl. license and helmet. Went thru dozens of check points. Never had a problem. After a few times they just waved me thru. Just follow rules, you won’t have problems

20 years ago I learnt to ride a moped in Phuket when I rented it with my provisional driving license I had to push it away because I didn't know how to ride but it took me about a couple of hours to suss it out I come away with my Thai birthmark

Hi Tony, been watching you for a while now. Love your content and would be interested in your perspective for someone to live full time in Phuket. Lot of KZbin content for retirement in Thailand, but most are in Bangkok, Pattaya or north . Love the Patong area but expensive. Visiting again for 4th time in February this year.

No mate, $55 for 12 months from memory. I did mine at RACV office. Will only cover you for licence you hold. If you only have car then it will not extend o MC
